Where

where did you get that info. I have a 2020 Ram 2500 4 x 4 and my zDOF won’t regenerate and I need to smog it. Of course it had to happen when my registration is due.
Found the info by Googling. Warranty manuals are on the Mopar website. Select your vehicle brand, year and model to get the warranty books online.

Here’s the 2020 Mopar diesel warranty for California diesels.

Here is the supplement that says some other states are covered by the CA warranty. Unfortunately, I don’t see Pennsylvania listed under additional states in the 2500/3500 medium duty section. Strange though as it’s listed for light duty and heavy duty. You’d think medium duty would be covered too. If I were you, I’d contact a dealer and/or Mopar to ask if 2020 Ram 2500 diesel in PA is covered by the California 7/70k federal emissions warranty.

Thank you, I’m in Pittsburg California. I should be good according to this. Thanks

Could someone explain in good detail just how to get the connector off of the MAF sensor. I pulled up the light gray tab with a pick. Then what? I pulled carefully but it didn't come off so I must be missing something.
These connectors drive me crazy. It seems like every one has a different clip, press, pry, or pray to it. All the instructions ever say is "Remove the connector". Is there any source that describes how to remove all of these different connectors?

On a related note, it seems that every maintenance procedure starts with "remove the battery ground cables". I've not yet done that. Wouldn't removing the battery ground cables wipe out the 5,237 settings I've developed over the first three years of owning the truck. I don't want to start over.

I like all the convenience features of these trucks but I'm old enough to remember working on our '41 International pickup as a farm kid. It had an engine with a generator and a water pump. We added an aftermarket turn signal and, with luck, the heater worked when it was -35°F in North Dakota. In all the years of using that truck, we never had a single "check engine light". Those were the days.

Once you pull the locking tab out and Just beyond the locking tab there is an area you push to release the harness from the MAF sensor.

I just wish I could or someone could figure out the constant Regen. I go through so much fuel due to it.

Thanks for the reply. I looked closely and pushed on a spot that looked promising but no go. Is it behind the locking tab, below it, or where? And do you push it toward the connector body or pull it away from it. Sorry for the questions, but I tried everything and need to be spoon fed here.

Right under the lock. Push it in. Connector should pull off sensor.. . It's probably dirty.

When I did the Banks Monster Ram on mine a had a couple connectors that were difficult to get off. They were all dirty.
Once I blew the out with air they worked fine afterwards.

If I remember correctly, there is a small black piece of plastic about 3/8” square that has to be removed from the connector to get to the release tab. If it pops off and falls into infinium it’s going to be hard to locate.

Thanks, I’ll look for that.

I need help with another issue. It turns out I’ve got the Germany MAF. I found a supplier for the China MAF (Geno’s Garage) and ordered it. I’m about to change it out but I understand there is a MAF “learning” procedure that must be done after changing the MAF. Can anyone provide the correct FCA procedure?

I've had people suggest to first try changing out the MAP, then if still having problems then change out the MAF...
