So, went to order a 3500 CC Big Horn, Laramie level trim, DRW and the dealer is saying it can’t be ordered with the safety group… I can have safety group if I go with Big Horn level 2… anybody got any inside info on this?

Feels like he’s got a truck on order that the buyer bailed on and he’s trying to feed me a line.

Yes, trying different dealer tomorrow, figured I’d ask.
 
Anyone have any idea when the 5500 orders for limited trim will open for 2025 model year? I’m desperately waiting but might end up going to another brand if it’s not soon as I need a truck asap. My 2022 5500 has been a NIGHTMARE and I’m desperate to trade her in.

I saw a 2025 black 5500 Laramie on autotrader last night. I didn’t even know those were available since the build site hasn’t listed any trim over big horn for months.

My dealer now tells me mid next week. Yet it's been on a car carrier for over a week now. They all lie it's absolutely ridiculous. I said I'd go down to the port and pick it up
 
Their tracking system is as bad or worse than the USPS system. It shocks me that vehicles actually show up where they're suppose to. :rolleyes:
This is my first experience ordering a vehicle, I hope they're not all like this.

I've ordered 4 jeeps before and it's never taken this long and the tracking was not bad at all.
 
Funny thing is that this is what I see on my end. Doesn't even acknowledge it shipped. Even though I know it was already in Baltimore weeks ago.

Haven't seen anything over the last 3-4 months I've been watching that tell me there is any way for you to guess how long a build will sit in scheduled.

Seems like a lot of orders go into production in 10-17 days, obviously a lot that don't fit in the window but seems like that's probably close to average at least from everything I've looked at for 24 and 25
 
Thank you for the replies! It would be nice to have more fidelity but I guess it is what it is.

I am hoping I hit production this next week. Still seems like it’s a toss up on the shipping process though

My ceramic grey 3500 Laramie has been scheduled since May 10th. Had an estimated shipping date of June 11th and was still showing d1 status yesterday per my dealer. Which confuses me since the granite I ordered 5 days before the ceramic (dealer is keeping the granite) with the same specs will be delivered sometime next week...

Gotta love that. I order granite so maybe there is a chance? ‍
 
I’ll find out later this morning if mine shows up.

A couple days ago the site said it arrived on the 17th. I checked it earlier today and it updated to the 13th.

Ah well time to go to bed.
