Has anyone with a factory bed step had their unit scheduled or even built? Are they really out of steps causing our builds to just wait months?
 
I have factory bed step on my order
My tracker said I went into production 5-11
Has not moved since
Dealer said it has shipped to body vendor

I would like to think they would not hold up build for bed step . Or at least give you the option to complete build without it.
I’m just a few days short of a month in production .

They’ve been doing mandatory bed step deletes on recent orders.

Yes, they are out of stock. My old order was stuck, and I had to reorder my truck because the 400W inverter was out of stock. The bed step was also removed from the new order.

Dealer says they have no visibility of estimated dates while it is in JB (at body vendor). She said as soon as it is released for shipping, they will know.

I think the biggest hold up was the 2.4Kw inverter option I selected. They told me on 6-3-25 that if I wanted to keep that option it would likely end up being a 2026. So at this point it's been a week since they removed the inverter from the order. At this point I'm hoping it gets built as a 2025 so I could get it by end of summer. I've been planning on ordering a truck this year for the past 18 months. When the 2025's didn't get unveiled until January I was bummed, now it's taking longer than I ever expected... such is my life I guess. :confused:
However, I have only seen Forged Blue trucks on lots (via autotrader.com) as 2500 Ram's. Not a single one is a 3500 let alone Laramie's with Night Edition, so maybe I'm not as far behind as it feels.
 
I feel your pain motorhead426, I'm waiting for a Laramie in red to become available for order. I was hoping to add the 2.4kw as well, wonder why such a long wait.
 
How long do builds typically sit in the scheduled stage? I am obviously not making the 15 June ETA (I figured this ever since that date was generated). But I am wondering what a realistic timeline is at this point.
