Adding adaptive cruise

restored my bcm to factory defaults and only made the necessary changes unrelated to DASM. Car was fine. Then all I did was enable the DASM on the PT Chassis Net and immediately got the vehicle configuration mismatch dtc. So without changing anything else, just enabling the DASM I get the error. Plant mode enter and exit didn’t change anything.

Basically I dont know what the issue is. Something else yet to be identified.
 
Thanks mattjackson86 for your updates on the project. Hopefully in near future the issues will be identified so we can move forward. I think that the reason why I (I don't think I'm the only one here) 'm so closely watching this forum is that ultimately we wanted the Comma 3X AI to be installed and enabled in our RAM 2500's.
 
Hey all, i know it has been a while since everyone was trying this with mixed results. Well I decided to give it a go. I’m rebuilding a wrecked 21mega 6.7ho Laramie truck. I have never even heard the truck run but we should be to that point by the end of this week. I have installed all the parts needed and within the next few weeks we will see if it worked! If anyone has any new updates to help lmk. Wish me luck!
 
Oh btw I also swapped in a 50gallon tank and plan to add the digital rearview mirror.
Next major hurdle is keys though as I have none. Hopefully I can successfully program a set with alphaobd

I also swapped in a 50 gallon on my 24 3500. I’m wondering if there is a setting to change the tank capacity using AlphaOBD so DTE reads and calculates correctly.
 
Went to put the new mirror adapter in today and hang mirror..brand new OEM adapter has a captured bolt in it to bolt to windshield. It was too long and cracked the brand new glass..fml
 
I have a 2019 Ram 2500 Power Wagon (6.4 Gas). I already have adaptive cruise control but I don't have lane assist. So is this the correct part list and what other configurations would I need to set to enable the lane assist. Also, if I already have a 12" screen but it doesnt have the lane assist button, is there a way to just buy the button or the panel? or is it one whole part?

Also did anyone find that "custom harness" for the 2019? When thay say harness are they just talking about something that holds something or is it another wire?
 
I am here to report a successful install on a 2019.
First I would like to thank @Jimmy07 for all the info provided, it is the reason I was able to get ACC working.
Initially I had the same config mismatch that everyone is complaining about - that also got me banned at my local dealership.
I changed the truck configuration per Jimmy's directions but after comparing his truck config with mine I discovered that there were 2 differences. I made the changes and it worked.
Below you will find all the changes I made:

VehConfig 2: Cruise Control Present- NO

VehConfig 7: Type of adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) system present- ACC with stop

VehConfig 7: Full Speed Range Forward Collision Warning Plus System- YES

CustSetMenu 1: Forward Collision Warning CSM Present- Feature 2 - 3 Option

CustSetMenu 2: Forward Collision Warning Single Setting (Warning and Brake) CSM Present- YES

P/T Chassis Net: ACC/DASM Adaptive Cruise Control/Driver Assistance Module- ENABLE

Collision Mitigation System Present - Yes

Forward Collision Warning Present - Yes

Auto High Beam Module Location - IRCM

CRVMM - No

Wish you good luck in getting yours to work, I'm moving on to LKA (as soon as I figure out what that custom harness is)

What error messages did you have after changing all configs? I just did mine the other day and had an error message, service cruise or something like that come across dash.
I just want to make sure it is functioning properly before I head to dealer..

Everything related to Cruise Control and Collision Warning System was showing errors/warnings.

What model truck do you have?
 
Tried adding to my 22. All new parts, used all the updated settings and was unsuccessful. I get the configuration mismatch. Messaged @Jimmy07, he’s not gotten back to me. Hopefully someone will figure it out soon. Other wise this was an expensive experiment.
