What did you do TO your RAM today?

@whitexc

No they were definitely not cheap. I chose them for the brightness and the fact that the bracket system and harnesses are specifically made for the truck. After installing them and seeing their performance, I feel that they were worth the price.

Ok, not all today but I’ve been doing the “necessary” to me modifications to my new ‘24 Laramie. Nothing serious like some of you guys but it’s a start! My trucks have always been work trucks so it feels good to have something nice for myself. I’m keeping my 2020 Tradesman for work duty!
First thing when I backed into the driveway was to get rid of the sport decal. Nothing about this truck screams “sport” and it looks so much cleaner without.
Next I ran the wiring for the factory LED bed lights. Also ordered my KAOdTECH bcm cable. Crazy that my Tradesman came with these lights but not my Laramie.
I added a matte screen protector for the factory 12” radio. Highly recommend it to everyone. I believe I have to get one for the wife’s grand Cherokee now.
Lastly (so far) I had the bed done with LineX. They did a great job. Looks so much better than the factory spray on that my Tradesman came with.

Hey
Congratulations. I'm also trying to get bed lights installed. Do you have a picture of the oem plug and harness? I think my Bighorn is wired for them? Found a couple three plugs at the rear, just not sure what they are for..of course hoping they are for the bed lights.
Appreciate it, TIA.

He shows you at 5:46.

Thanks,
I had seen it. I found plugs that look like they fit the harness, although not in the same location and together like his dually, but I will verify when the kit arrives tomorrow.
Likely wire them to the fuse box with a rocker switch in the oem switch location in the bed.

I changed fuel filters today. I bought the truck new in september of 22 and always had the dealership do it. I think i spent more time watching youtube videos then actually doing the work. The front one under the hood did not want to pull out, I thought about hooking a come along to it. the rear one unfortunately arrived without a O ring so i had to reuse the current one. oh yeah i also took out a small loan to buy new wipers and installed them.

Not today but last weekend, caught up with a mate that was in our close vicinity.

I have seen 3 variations of what is called the sport hood and curious to what deflector will fit. I have what appears to be the same as yours on my black 2024 3500 Dually Laramie. I have attached a picture. Any help would be appreciated as the people with Mopar parts have been no help at all. Thanks and Semper Fi.

The profile of all HD hoods is the same.

So any of the air deflectors or bug deflectors compatible with my truck will work no matter what the hood style? Thanks for the help.

That’s my understanding, the portion of the hood where the deflector attaches is the same.

What are the differences in the sport hoods you’ve seen? I’ve only noticed sport and normal hoods.

They did not have the fake ram box like mine. The hood on the Rebel and TRX are considered sport hoods with the TRX being a performance active one. What was confusing is the RAM dealers and Mopar parts store could not tell me. All I need was an answer like what you gave me. Thank you so much
