Every time my truck looks like this, I think finally it’s earning its keep.
I hauled a few of those with my 04 2500 (bags @100psi).

Our ACE Hardware stores sell only the wood pellet tall stacks of 60 bags. Kind of glad that I can't load up our 3500 4x4 with two 50's, but it still would be under the payload capacity. Two 60's, nope.
Our 2016 PW is over the 1,446 lb payload capacity with 60 bags, but it's hauled it multiple times. View attachment 82299
I've made many of them with feed bags!Interesting, never seen a 60 bag stack.

You still haven't. It's covered up in that giant condom.Interesting, never seen a 60 bag stack.
At least it’s ‘’ribbed for her pleasure’’.You still haven't. It's covered up in that giant condom.![]()
You're talking to someone with 20 years in the feed business. I've made plenty of stacks with bags.Making your own stack is a bit different than buying a factory prepped pallet.
Easier for the forklift guy to stuff in!At least it’s ‘’ribbed for her pleasure’’.![]()

Serious question: the cost of an eco-diesel is almost the same as a base model 2500. So what's the draw for these things? I see tons of them on the roads but just don't understand who pays that much for a diesel half ton?
Im guessing its the people who don’t need a truck for truck things often. Its no different than people using a truck as a minivan and never using it for truck things when minivans are 1/2 the cost of a truckSerious question: the cost of an eco-diesel is almost the same as a base model 2500. Well, my story....I had a 2014 Tradesman 2500 (6.4 / 6-speed) prior to the EcoDiesel. It was somewhat pathetic at towing anything with that transmission and got chitty mpgs. Seemed like if the motor wasn't either lugging or screaming, it wasn't pulling. I'm sure the CTD would have been a different animal, or even the 8-speed in the newer 6.4's but that's not what I had. I bought my Eco in 2018 and the 2500 still had the 6-speed plus I had no real reason to own an HD at the time. The Eco was going to be used as my DD towing a boat, jet skis, a load of bark here and there and occasionally pulling my dump trailer. It has most every option I wanted, gets close to 28mpgs and rides like a Cadillac. In 2018 I paid $47k OTD and really the only other option for me (because I wanted all the old man amenities (Laramie level 2 stuff) would be a CTD which I couldn't afford at the trim level I wanted. Plus again, I didn't really have a need for an HD. For the most part, it tows better than my 2500 ever did at least up to about 7k. I got my 3500 for a future (bigger) RV. I can't afford both it and the RV at the same time so I'm spreading them out. I kept the Eco and still use it for my DD and towing most all of my other trailers. It's just a 1500 that's not much different than the millions of hemi 1500's on the road except maybe better mpgs and better light towing characteristics. Just my 2 cents. Probably only worth half that.Serious question: the cost of an eco-diesel is almost the same as a base model 2500. So what's the draw for these things? GO SPARKY GO!!We saw Clark W. Griswold cruising through Silverdale WA over the holidays. This made my season bright...
He was cruising at 70 mph on Hwy 3 without a care in the world.
