how did these tires fit in the spare tire holder? Thanks

What: 37/12.5/17 Cooper Discoverer At3 XLT
Where: Bullrun 4x4 Haymarket VA
Why: I’m a big tw*t and can’t leave well enough alone. Cooper is one of the lightest and most road-oriented 37’s. Ran 35” Toyo R/T Trails for the past year. Awesome tire but simply not for my current use case. Went 35 originally to fit the spare, but now with a cap I’m going to put a spare in the bed for planned trips only. Biggest change is noise. While the Toyos were acceptable, I can’t even hear the Coopers over wind/engine/exhaust. Notably softer over sharp edges and expansion joints, probably a combination of larger diameter and D vs E load rating. Handling feedback is also softer for the same likely reasons. The Toyos were surprisingly sporty for what they are in the dry, but also not great in the wet. Acceleration/braking were slightly affected going 33->35 but quickly became imperceivable. 35->37 the same, but it does shift down from 8th easier at lower highway speeds. True or not it feels more impacted by wind than tire. Contacted my front mudflaps pretty hard so I just removed them although they are present in the photos.

Love the specs on your wheels and tires! Looks great. Kind of makes me wish AEV made that wheel in a machined or PVD chrome finish, that would go well with my white Limited. Instead, I have some G700 innova8 wheels ordered, clear coated, 17x8.5" 25mm offset (very close to your wheels specs)... Plan on going 35" or 37" x 12.50 tires, but I can't have any rubbing, and I do go off-roading several times a year...

Thanks. Even though I found myself in a dark color truck and I’m keeping the theme going, I’m pretty burned out on dark everything. I’d dig a white or pearl truck with chrome wheels, bumpers, and grill for my next vehicle like I think you’re describing.

I'm genX, we love some chrome! Personally, I would love polished aluminum wheels, but they're too much work. I also really like the look of PVD chrome; I was contemplating getting the new Thuren forged wheels PVD coated, but the price was more than I was willing to pay ...2019 Ram 2500 Limited.png

New to the Off Road community. I picked up the Power Wagon a few days ago. I was not a fan of the stock wheel and tire package. After some research here on the forum and landing a steal on some 37x12.5x17 Hercules Terra Trac M/T tires, this is what I ended up with. Looking for input now on the subtle custom things to add. Tow hook color change, logo wraps, etc.... I think i'm also going to powder coat the bead lock ring black or charcoal. Opinions?

Based on what I read I expected some tire rub. However, going lock to lock there is no rub at all!IMG_7727.jpegIMG_7721.jpeg
