Well, the time has come for me to join the dreaded lifter failure club, and I had some questions for those who have had to deal with this.
2022 SO, 66k miles on the clock, 1800 hours with about 14% idle time, and zero regen issues. Purchased with 55k on the clock, and have been running annual Oil changes since I never come anywhere near mileage on my OCI.
How have you gone about getting this taken care of at a dealer? I mainly fear that I’m going to bring this thing in, only for a service department to tell me that “nothing is wrong” and send me on my way towards an inevitable failure on the side of a road somewhere.
Any and all insight is appreciated.
