Yeah. Have gotten 2 updated downtubes. And today they say they are working on an updated one. About 3-4 weeks out they said.Did you try to contact S&B about the problem ?

I’d like to say that I’m surprised by that but…..definitely not given the types of responses I’ve seen others receive from dealer level help.It just astounds me at the fact that the dealers are still trying to sell the wrong filter as well

Not that I know what I'm doing but since Sept 2021 delivery I've changed everything twice, usually after the camping season is over. I have approx. 15,000 miles as of today. With the sensitivity of the air filters.... what is the concenses on how often to replace the filter?
The 2 Ram dealers I deal with in Brampton Ontario have been selling the correct filter for 2 years now. They have been on back order a couple of times but they will NOT sell a substitute and if the right guy is at the counter will find you another one at another dealer if they have one.It just astounds me at the fact that the dealers are still trying to sell the wrong filter as well

All I can say is I run the white Mopar filter WITH glue strips and that is what fixed my Truck. I had about the same frequency as you as far as the code tripping. I know there is a pic of likely a newer filter without glue strips and I still think the white synthetic filter media will flow more. I have no proof of that. Just common sense tells me the orange or brown ones have some oil on the filter media and that will restrict flow. You say you have a correct Mopar filter istalled but you do not specify what PN or exactly where it was purchased. Could be a counterfit etc and maybe that is a source of the problem. Just trying to give you some ideas. Good luck.I have been throwing this code (P0299) For a little over a year now maybe two. Every dealer trip has cleared it, but not a single one has really solved it. It only showed up after CP4 recall was completed, and subsequent re-flash. I have heard the filter story numerous times and my only response to the dealer was “yup, got it, but you put in the last filter…”. Same dealer was not going to honour my warranty because their re-flash left another code (P1400) indicating that an aftermarket calibration was attached, though eager to push for a delete after I told them that they were the only ones doing the work on my truck (pro tip: keep all your dealer service records), they had no idea how to clear it or that there was a TSB. Subsequently they are no longer my dealer and found a competent dealer to solve that issue which there was an actual TSB to deal with the issue.
New dealer was able to re-flash with TSB to get rid of the external device code, and though I also managed to drive without getting the P0299 code for a couple of months it’s back with a vengeance now. Got a full service done, including clearing the code, in preparation of a 2500 mile move with fifth wheel in tow. Code clearing didn’t survive the first day, trip took us 7 days and everyday I was clearing the code up to twice a day. There is nothing wrong with the turbo or any of the other parts associated with the code, the air filter is a stock, no glue strips and Mopar 100%. Best I can tell is every time I do a flash this code remains in the Permanent file on the ECU/CPU and requires an additional TSB to address this issue beyond a code reader on hand to clear it.
Does anyone know if TSB 18-067-23 was the re-flash intended to resolve a lot of these issues? Because I’ve had that done as well. Now I am left with “need code to be active for further diagnostics”, so I drive everyday clearing codes and hoping that it actually throws at a more convenient location and/or time so I can get to a dealer to check this final box. Problem now, I moved and need to find another competent dealership in Columbus, GA area.
I am beyond frustrated with this…
Thanks, I am going to track down the white filter you mention. It seems to make sense that a non-oiled version would probably work the best, though what doesn't make sense is that the vehicle sensors are so sensitive that it can triggered by these small discrepancies and that Ram is basically leaving this up to the owners to try a figure out the solution. I'll putt the filter and provide a PN for the current version the dealer installed. All I can say is I run the white Mopar filter WITH glue strips and that is what fixed my Truck. After seeing you tube videos of the map sensor all gunked up, that is the first thing I did. Mine was flawlessly clean. yes a boost leak check might be needed.Alright, got the white filter finally and installed, cleared the codes and right back where I started again. So safe to say it is not the filter as I have tried every legit Mopar filter that fits, and by all rights should all work, glue or no glue… But what I will say is that it’s just the start of diagnostics for this. I’ll do a boost leak test this weekend to check the path and flow is good. If that checks out I’ll pull the MAP and check it (clean it) and clear the code again to see if it clears. Keep you posted.
Following this with interest. My 2024 Rebel throws the P0299 code when towing my 7k lbs camper and code shows up when the motor is barely working (level highway). Dealer can't recreate it. It started when the truck had 1k miles on it. Now have 7k miles on the truck.Alright, got the white filter finally and installed, cleared the codes and right back where I started again. Sounds like you have a restriction in the intake track before the filter. Check the tube that runs from the Ram Air scoop to the filter box.Following this with interest. FleetGuard doesn’t make a fuel filter that goes in the rear under the bed. Im using a Baldwin pf46152 for the rear and FG fs53000 in the front filter. The air filter is AF27684 and LF16035 for the oil filter.Gees trying to get the Fleetguard part numbers for all the filters on my 3500 2024.
Anybody got a full list, the parts list that sent me here only has the front fuel filter Fleetguard number.
Want to see if my local Fleetguard supplier can supply or do I keep buying genuine.
Thanx in advance.
