Fox 2.5 DSC shock question

I'm in the research phase of the suspension portion of my 24' Ram Rebel build and was wondering if anyone had any experience with the Fox 2.5 DSC shocks, either from Thuren or from one of the warehouse vendors?

I see that Thuren offers a kit for just over $3500 that includes front and rear shocks and an e-brake cable relocation bracket. They have two rear shock options - one for their long travel coils and one for OE coils.

I've found Fox shocks with the same compressed and extended lengths that are advertised for Ram 2500 trucks from Shock Warehouse and Shock Surplus for around $2800, but with no e-brake bracket.

I've read the Thuren description on their website and on the CJC site and can't find any specs that suggest the Thuren kit is valved differently than the standard Fox offering for the 2500.

I understand the Fox shock with DSC adjuster is a newer offering for the current HD Rams, but I was curious if anyone had any experience with either kit they could share, or any information about what makes the Thuren kit different, or if there is any difference.

And people appreciate pictures, so attached is the project in question.

I appreciate that.

Whether you're genuinely trying to helpful, or trying to bust balls, I appreciate the effort you put into finding that link.

Generally I try to get my feedback from end-users, not manufactures though.

In all my years or modding cars, bikes, guns, trucks ect, I've found that no matter how honest a company is, it's tough for them not to be biased. It keeps there lights on, which I completely understand. I just figured maybe someone had gone down the same path before me and might have some insight.

I will reach out though. That way your efforts aren't wasted.

While I do not have any experience with those shocks reach out to Don via email or Call. No BS on information.

My purpose in posting the contact info is that you could find out from them if they actually do re-valve to match their springs, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't tell you what the valving is though.

My guess is that you wouldn’t be able to tell much difference between the $2800 shocks and the $3500 shocks. I'm not saying they don’t custom valve them, but it’s probably a subtle difference and either set compared to stock are certainly night and day. If you’re looking for a more economical upgrade go with the cheaper set. If you want the best of the best and have the coin then go custom tuned. Just my opinion

most likely as Thuren says their valving is for rebound.

My front Fox Performance Elite 2.5's arrived today and are on the truck. The rears arrive on Monday. They replaced my Thuren/Fox 2.0. I got them from Shock Surplus. I only have about 30 miles on them so far. The come factory set at "3" on the high and low speed. With having just the fronts on I did notice that they are softer over a couple of spots in my back road commute where you imediately transition fron down hill to up hill. I have read on another forum that running them at "6" on low compression and "1" on the high side controls body roll well while providing a pretty cush ride on the highway. I am looking forward to tinkering with the settings and also getting feedback from the group
