The ‘19 got an entirely new frame. They have been making new trucks without much additional cost since 2010 or 2013 if you want to start when the suspension was modified. Thats a dozen plus years on practically the same frame and body. Now thats not necessarily a bad thing - our trucks are still class leading. The GM and Ford interiors don't have the quality or look of a new Laramie or higher.
All that to say its time for RAM to reinvent the wheel and make a true 5th gen. For what we pay on a truck they can make a new one that has few parts shared with the 4th gen and still make their money.
19 is not a new frame. At most they changed the cab mount ears for bigger ones that allow larger mounts. Holes were also made in radius arms and that’s about it.The ‘19 got an entirely new frame.

Different steel types and some small changes. Again not "entirely new frame" Design is almost exactly the same as I’ve had late 4th gen and 2019. I looked."New" is subjective, but there were significant changes made.
The facts do not support your statement.
Well, played!Just take your purse to lunch. I am a problem solver give me something harder!!!
The pepole bashing the looks of it have no concept on how a truck should or shouldn't look like.No reason to make big changes to the frame if you're not making big changes to the body and powertrain. Wonder if the 2025 HO ZF will require a frame "facelift"
Frustrating as hell watching TFL video calling out the "massive fist-in-the-wind" grill on the '25s. it's the exact same size as the rest of the '19+ models. Even the split headlights fit right into the same footprint of the previous trucks. So a radar, split headlights, and some new plastic. Big whoop.
I’ll admit that I definitely have no concept of what a truck should or shouldn’t look like. Can you help me out by explaining exactly what a truck should and shouldn’t look like? The pepole bashing the looks of it have no concept on how a truck should or shouldn't look like.

Balance, that the front of the vehicle, the hood area, the cabin, the bed area, they all feel like they were meant to be together.
Most pepole coment on one things such as the grill or the headlights but not the truck as a whole.
Nothing else on the truck changed except that gawd awful grill/headlight setup.
What you're saying is the 19-24 trucks were not "balanced" and now this is?
LOL
Sorry, but that front end looks like AI when it tries to draw people and they have backwards knees, 9 fingers, 3 arms, and a guardrail through their midsection.

So, you’re the one that makes that determination for everyone?Glad to, thanks for asking.

OMG, Well I guess it's a good thing I didn't ask for your permission to have an opinion. I do have to say I do enjoy a lot of your Teck ideas on this form, you help a lot of others with their problems. So, you’re the one that makes that determination for everyon
Yeah this is my only gripe as well. I had a 5th gen Ram ecodiesel and that flat floor in the rear was so nice for the dogs. I needed to upgrade to an HD truck for our new camper and it was during COVID. I couldn't find the Ram I wanted and couldn't order one so I ended up with a 2021 Silverado 3500 gas truck and the back seat room and flat floor was so nice. I wanted a diesel so I ended up back in a Ram 2500 with the Cummins. The back seat is ok in my 2500 but with having to use the fold flat floor it makes it really high off the ground and it is smaller as well. I honestly wouldn't even care if there was more room just if they could figure out how to make the floor flat .I am shocked that they haven't updated the cab yet. Having said that I do appreciate the overall smaller size of the Ram HD's compared to the Ford and Chevy. My Chevy 3500 was enormous.Simple. The rear seat isn’t full size across the entire seat. The middle seat is horrible for an adult on any trip that is longer than going to the grocery store one town over. I regularly make 500+ mile one way trips with five people in the truck. No person wanted to sit in the middle seat until I got my megacab.
The rear leg room is a full 3 inches less than the megacab and the ford and Chevy rear seats as well. Not too mention it doesn’t have a flat floor.
The CC is not competitive anymore. The megacab is competitive, but then you are limited to the short bed. Which, by the way, is also the smallest short bed compared to ford and Chevy.
