And there you have it.
That’s correct. The 1500s got a 5th gen already. Nice big cabin. Nice trucks.I just spent a few minutes clicking some stuff too. Correct me if I'm wrong (still learning this stuff!) but it appears maybe the term "5th gen" refers only to the 1500 model trucks, and not any HD trucks? Cuz if that is indeed the case, then I understand why our HD trucks are not "5th gen" and the references I've heard/read are using the term technically incorrectly, as I have.
I'll change the thread title to read 4.5 gen, just in case.
I have a 2022 GMC company truck, and I dislike the seats, my shoulders do not fit in-between the side risers on them and I'm not that big of a guy.2022 2500 6.7 SO, Laramie, Purchased 16k miles has 82k miles.
Issues so far have been;
I have enjoyed the 82k miles so far with plans to run till it burns up. Personal belief that GMC has better seats comparing my fathers 2022 to my 2022. But shes a work horse that loves to get stuck in mud.
- starter that went out after 200 miles from purchase (approx. 16k miles)
- CEL P2459 code when switched from glueless air filter to glue stripped and corrected by switching back (approx 60k miles)
- Misalignment & Pull to right from curb hopping predominately fixed after leveling kit was aligned (approx 75k miles)
- CEL P202E code that so far cleared after cleaning the injector (soon to replace with new injector, approx 82k miles)
- Plan to visit a weight-loss doctor in the future.
Those will be called 5th gen 2.0 Super Dupers. Duh.Anyone who truely thinks these are 5th gens will be really confused when they finally come out with 5th gen HD’s lol
Yeah Im having a similar issue with my truck. I noticed the right pull and misaligned steering wheel (gotta hold the wheel at about 11 o'clock to keep the truck straight) on our first test drive. Tech dept at the dealership put in on the rack and it was slightly out of spec, which they said they corrected. I drove the truck again (before purchase) and still it pulled to the right, though not quite as bad, and the steering wheel slightly out (about 11:30). Then the service dept said its likely a bad tire because the rack says its right on the money. So, before delivery, they put a new set of Firestone AT2's on it (it had HT2's from the factory, I requested the all-terrains and the dealership obliged) and I took it for a quick drive. Unfortunately I didn't get it on the freeway for that drive but it felt pretty good at 45 mph so I figured it was fixed. We signed the papers and I hit the freeway for the trip home (2 hrs) when I noticed NOPE, it still pulls and the steering wheel is still outta whack. So, now its in the service dept at a different dealership and we'll see what they come up with. My guess at this point, some jackwagon before me hopped a curb on a test drive and something under there got tweaked. Dealership #2 is supposed to call me with their findings tomorrow.2022 2500 6.7 SO, Laramie, Purchased 16k miles has 82k miles.

Both. Did the 6400 treatment and now the 6500 1 oz to 10 gallons. My DPF gage hasn't moved off zero since I started.the AR6400 or the AR6500 ?
