Adding OEM Heated Steering Wheel and Seats

I editted my reply above with a ton of info & part numbers based on my research. Still need to figure out if cloth seats or any other leather seat options will work fine with heated/ventilated seats. Also don't have much if anything for radio bezel or steering wheel.

From everthing I've been reading Gen 4 1500 seats will bolt up in place on a 2019+ HD I'm still trying to figure out if the harnesses are plug and play.

Not yet. Had trouble with my local dealers' online parts ordering, and haven't had time since. I'll make sure to update when I get to it though.

After a bit of a battle I got this job done. I got the heated seats from a big horn along with the correct steering wheel and clock spring. I made all of the changes in alfaobd that are listed in the two posts I quoted and the climate settings never showed up in my connect system.

I contacted Jimmy07 and he had me turn on the auto climate control setting in alfaobd, and after that the climate app showed up. I was then able to use the heated seats and wheel with the touch screen. However after that I was only able to control my climate settings on the screen and they didn’t work properly because I didn’t have my truck set up for auto climate yet.

After installing the wire harness and sensors for auto climate, and the necessary center stack that had the auto controls and heated seats and wheel everything works as it should.

So long story short if you are only looking to add heated seats and wheel, but keep your manual climate controls I’m not sure what needs to be done. Because doing what was outlined in this thread didn’t work for me.

Iam on the same wild goose chase with my 2022 2500 .any setting changes using alphaobd would be much appreciated.

Adding heated and cooled power seats perforated leather and wheel to a 2022 bighorn that had manual adjust cloth seats .all connector s are in truck from factory.all wires are present inside the connectors also yellow plug powered both seats and operate fully.now it's time for the proper commands to make the 8.4 uconnect recognize I have the heated seats installed. I do not have the correct centerstack yet. Hoping to control on the soft keys for now.any help would be great.thank you in advance

2022 2500 big horn manual to power heated seats and heated steering wheel. Got it done and everything is functioning. Thanks again to finn5033 for the information for the settings. There's not alot of information out there and maybe this may help someone else . Also had to change the center stack to a dual zone style hard key to have the soft keys to appear in the uconnect 8.4 screen.

My issue atm is that some of the illumination on the buttons are either not working or are different brightness while driving at night. All the buttons work though. Thoughts on while the gear limit isn't illuminating?

I don't think the gear selector illuminates.and if you are adding heated seats and wheel you should consider a set of seats out of a 23 24 as it will be a plug and for your 24 ram.i purchased a st of seats out of a 23 not knowing and had to rewire the driver seat memory as the wire connector was different and the module codes communicates differently .and you may need a clockspring for heated steering wheel and center stack to control the heated seats .

This is the one I found. Alot of them did not have traction control button on them and my 2022 2500 bighorn original center stack had it on it.i searched ebay for center stacks that looked like mine but had heated seat buttons and got the oem part number off the back . This is what I found.
