Anyone else hear this from their 6.4L Hemi 2500? MagnaFlow Replacement muffler is the only modification. Turn up the volume a little.
Sounds awful, respectfully.Anyone else hear this from their 6.4L Hemi 2500? MagnaFlow Replacement muffler is the only modification. Turn up the volume a little.
It make it sound like one of those popcorn basic tunes.... Thankfully it doesn't do it all the time.Sounds awful, respectfully.
Is it in MDS when it does it?It make it sound like one of those popcorn basic tunes.... Thankfully it doesn't do it all the time.
No.Is it in MDS when it does it?
I don't have the MagnaFlow, but I have a "free-flowing" muffler and resonator delete and my truck does not do that on shifts.Anyone else hear this from their 6.4L Hemi 2500? MagnaFlow Replacement muffler is the only modification. Turn up the volume a little.
I guess it seems to be a mixed bag. I posted in the Power Wagon page on FB and an off-roader with a Mufflex gets the same sound under engine braking.I don't have the MagnaFlow, but I have a "free-flowing" muffler and resonator delete and my truck does not do that on shifts.
I did hear some burble when engine breaking when I was out west in the mountains. But it was super rare.I guess it seems to be a mixed bag. I posted in the Power Wagon page on FB and an off-roader with a Mufflex gets the same sound under engine braking.
I only hear it every so often, this one I just happen to catch on that narrow street with the houses so you could hear it clearly.I did hear some burble when engine breaking when I was out west in the mountains. But it was super rare.

Couldn't put the inverter in the bed as it gets used to carry firewood, and if we use the Tent instead of dragging the trailer out (3500 mile road trip from Alberta to six of your national parks, last year) it gets power washed clean.
my phone takes pics that are “too large to upload” I just email them to myself and my email makes the file smaller. I don’t know much about files and computers but that works for me.Me too! Inverter is in the bed and the photo is "too big for the server" to post.View attachment 74925

Man batteries just don't seem to last like they used to.. Maybe all the electronics we have now or interior build quality... Maybe bothSure beats the junk the factory puts in it. I haven't had any issues but I am going to pre-emptively replace mine before next winter. It seems like the three year mark is when many factory batteries start to go south.
You are right on both counts. In my opinion, batteries are being cycled much more these days due to all the electronics. Of course many battery manufacturers want to maximize profits so now make them as cheap as possible, usually either off shore or some other third world country. The battery in my 2012 Honda Accord lasted 11 years before giving up. At one time when the key was shut off, there was no draw at all. Now a lot of the computers in these things need to be fed power 24/7. The draw might be slight but it adds up over time. I have a battery monitor on my 2021 and I can watch the voltage slowly drop as I only drive the thing once or twice a week. Once a month I plug in my NOCO 10 on board charger to bring the batteries up to a full charge. I fully expect to have to replace the batteries in the next year or two. I will replace them with good quality AGMs if I can find them.Man batteries just don't seem to last like they used to.. Maybe all the electronics we have now or interior build quality... Maybe both
