Actually, I had dug my old tool box out of the basement and was in the process of installing it when this storm rolled in.
I'm not 100% sure concerning interference with the 5th wheel, but it looks doable so far.

Found it local for cheap. I have been eyeballing these for years. Have been extremely on the fence about it and ultimately glad I didn’t pay MSRP based on first impressions of the first 6 hours of it being installed. Probably not going to keep it long term but, we will see.

After 2 years of owning mine I’m still on the fence.

Sometimes I want to get rid of it and then i think to myself “where would I put all this stuff” or I’ll have the bed loaded down and I can pull a drawer out to get a strap or gloves and realize that is really handy. The pros evenly weigh with the cons I think

Installed AGM batteries today. 2 year old factory batteries were not giving me any problems, just thought I would be proactive after reading thru the battery thread replies and go with AGM as suggested.

I went with Everstart from Walmart. I have bought AGM and lead acid batteries in the past from there and have had no issues. From my research they are made by East Penn.

Swapped out the muffler for the Magna Flow direct replacement muffler to "fix" a exhaust rattle only to find out it wasn't the muffler... It happened to be the tie bar between the Cats that had broken on one side causing the rattle. Cut it the rest of the way off and solved it. Go figure, a 1 hour job swapping the muffler only to be solved with a Sawzall and 30 seconds.

It is a bit louder than I was hoping for, but is has a good tone and low interior sound. Even sounds okay in MDS.

On another note, the craftmanship on the stock muffler was subpar. I always had a funny whooshing/hissing sound out of the exhaust and wonder if this was the cause.

I found the same broken tie bar on my 2020 6.4 2500. I welded it up and we’ll see how long that lasts.

Truck turned 15k yesterday. Changed the oil and filter. Then hooked up to the dump trailer. Had to fight off the urge to use the 01 Cummins for towing. Figured I'd better hook a trailer to this truck once in a while, don't want it to forget it's manners.

Do yourself a favor and buy or make some Stake Bed Pockets. You will be amazed at how much water will come through those holes. I bought some from Amazon for less than $25.

The inverter is one i've had for about 15 years, just ran it straight off batteries in the bed of the truck.

Finished up my install of Diode Dynamics Amber Fog lamps on my Tradesman. Install consisted of the Harnesses and Bezels and Brackets. Also Lasfit LED Turn Signal Bulbs. Used Alpha for Programming.
