2024 Order Tracking & Discussion

I ordered a 2500 Bighorn CC hemi on 11/6 and it still shows order confirmed, no build date.

Good day! so still working on building this 3500 drw chassis cab with my dealer to potentially replace my 5500. For those of you who have chose the "off road" tire option for your builds, anyone know what there throwing on there? says a goodyear. One would hope its a duratrac.... but heaven forbid they actually list it on the build sheet ! Also are any of you getting the digital cluster on a laramie? Iam positive i saw JB reviews on youtube show a laramie with one. Dealer wasnt sure but looking into it

For me, the build timeline is insane. I just got a call from Mark Dodge that my truck is ready for pickup. I placed the order on Nov. 11, 2023. I wish I could tell you why it was so fast compared to taking over 3 months for the same thing in 2022. It may have to do with the dealership VOLUME, LOCATION? especially when it comes to shipping timeline.
Almost same as my order/delivery time. Ordered 12/6/2021 delivered to MD 1/20/22 --- 46 days. And this was back when the delivery dates were being stretched waaaaaaaaaaay out.

Mine went to scheduled on 12/22, so 46 days from D to D1 status. Hopefully it gets built in January 2024.

Good day everyone! So just thought id share. Been slightly debating moving down to a 3500 c&c drw from my 5500.

Anyway! I built a truck on the ramtruck website and sent it to them for pricing, and they came up with some rough numbers and i went in maybe a week later to actually build it with them. In that time they recieved their constraints list which is quite large. Long story short all they can build now is a base laramie! Lvl 2 or mutually exclusive pkg are not available, 12” screen, or the fully digital cluster. Amoung other items i saw on their list was night edition pkg. so basically all iam able to get is almost lesser of a truck than my current 5500 laramie. Or move upto a limited. From what iam deciphering from them. It seems really early in 24 to be so many constraints?

So its sorta changed my mind a bit on moving trucks, i told them if they want my business then go ahead and try and give me some incentive to move to a limited, or give me a screaming deal on a lvl 1 laramie. Other than mirrors iam not sure theres much change between 22-24 base levels? My biggest reason/want for switching was to get some mpg back, better ride, and the dealer i bought my 5500 from was an absolute nightmare and the truck didnt come as it was supposed to. That and i wanted to get into the 12” screen pkg truck

Them? Seems you previously mentioned your local dealer.

Have you priced with Granger or Mark Dodge to comparison shop?

Ya sorry “them” was refering to my local dealer that ive been using on this 3500. I sent them the build sheet from ramtruck.ca. And then when we tried to build it on the dealers computer they had this big list of constraints

I bought my 5500 from an entirely different dealership.

I have heard alot of great things from mark dodge. But unfortunately i am in canada

I ordered a 2024 Ram 3500 on 1/2. It went d1 on 1/3. Looking back at the 2023 tracking spreadsheet that seems way faster than normal. It also looks like on average most trucks went into production around 2-4 weeks after going d1. Does going from d1 to production in 2-4 weeks sound about right these days? The last time I ordered a truck (it was not for me) was Jan 22 and things moved slowly so I'm not familiar with what is "normal" these days.

Put my order in Friday, and order confirmed on 1-6-2024 for my 2500 Green Ram Rebel Gasser.

Just closing out my story.

Finally picked up my 2024 3500 SRW HO Mega Cab Limited on December 29th at a dealer just north of Baltimore, MD. I had just about every option checked but the night package and sun roof. This "purchase" was a buy-back/exchange negotiated with Ram under Maryland's lemon law. I'm not sure if that impacted the timeline in any way, but I suspect not.

LOVE the truck so far, BTW. Had worried that the ride would be too harsh, but having been through a 1500 and a 2500, before getting into the 3500 kinda conditioned the ol' keister... it's really nice, but if I had gone from the family-hauling sedan straight to the 3500 I'm sure I'd feel differently. I've already gotten rid of the OEM Transforces for a set of "35 inch" Falken Wildpeaks and that change has been noticeable, but stock for stock the air ride 3500 mega didn't see all that different than my air ride cummins 2500. Sweet!

the Aisin is definitely clunkier than the 68RFE, but not to the point that it's a bother... just feels more "trucky". That HO with the Asian definitely takes off in 2nd gear quicker than the SO... the thing get's up and goes unloaded.

Awesome and Congrats. I've been seeing a lot of trucks with the Falken Wildpeaks. I might eventually need to replace the NEXEN that came with my 2024 3500 Dually at some point, but not yet. Let us know what you think about them.

@brv10 can you take another look for me? I had a delivery date of 12 Jan, but now its back at TBD. Thank You! (3C6UR5EJ4RG168312)

35 12/27 Delivered

When I saw KZX on the 2023 tracking spreadsheet Christmas morning I drove over to the dealer and found the truck on the lot unlocked. My salesman said the truck was not on the hot sheet as a sold vehicle. Also the morning after
I picked up the truck it would not start. The previous night the low was not below freezing but in the lower 30s . I jumped the vehicle and took it back to the dealer. Both batteries were bad. I was told that if a vehicle in a holding yard will not start a mechanic from FCA needs to be called to start it. With all of the delivery dates I have to wonder if when the delivery trucker tried to load the truck and it would not start so rather than wait either another vehicle was loaded or the truck left minus one vehicle.
In the owners Manuel it states that if the truck is to sit for 2 weeks or more one should disconnect the battery. Newer vehicles with a lot of electronics draw a lot of current just sitting and batteries are going dead. I wonder how many of the trucks that are suffering long delivery delays are found with dead batteries and are just left sitting rather than moving to the next stage.
My cancelation prize for waiting was that I was able to get the 10% rebate that was offered from 12/15th to 12/31st. Sort of makes all the frustration worth while.
