2023 HD Crowdsourced Order Tracking & Waiting Room

Do you suffer from Buyer's Remorse...i.e those feelings of regret after making a large purchase? In most situations, you take possession of the goods and the feelings disappear. When you order a truck, you have to deal with those gremlins until you receive your truck. I think that is one of the antagonizing issues of the order process. However, this would all be mitigated if the process flowed smooth as silk.

There is no suffering going on here whatsoever! Just wished could’ve had time to hang out down there for couple more days but oh well gotta go back to work to pay for the big beast ! And the upcoming trip to Florida for the real vacation!

I suffered from buyer’s remorse, but it was with my 2023 1500 order, which I soon after realized a Power Wagon was what I really wanted. Cancelled the 1500, which arrived a few days ago, and signed up for a Power Wagon that seems to have not left Mexico yet. Here’s to hoping it ships soon!

Congrats. Where are the rear fender flares?
Looking at mudflaps for my dually. There is a question as to whether the truck has or does not have fender flares. It's a naive question, but does a 3500 Limited DRW have fender flares? Also....does it have wheel well liners?

The top 12" of the dually wheel well does not have the liner. It can be ordered from Mopar at around $45.

Yes, the Longhorn and Limited are the only ones that have the fender flares now. I went with the Gatorback mudflaps. They are expensive, but they are thick, stainless steel, and bulletproof.

It's nip & tuck right now. Have a flight to pick up my truck. The dealer says that he's arranged to have it shipped from the yard and it will be ready to go tomorrow. I hope it all comes together. I haven't had a car payment since 2007. Sticker Shock is Real!

My truck shipped on the 3rd and is not scheduled to arrive until the 29th. Meanwhile I’ve been getting all my parts/accessories ready for when it arrives. I bought a set of Fuel Blitz wheels, had them stripped then refinished to match the truck. I think the company who did the powder coating did an amazing job and the color match is perfect.

That is sweet looking. Is the bead a different color than the spokes, or is that just the lighting?

The spoke face is the Granite Crystal and the rest of the wheel including the bead is a flat black which matches the emblems on the night edition.

Mine made the 2 hour trip from Port Allen to MD today. It has been a seamless process working with both Charles and Deb at MD.

Looking forward to picking it up this Saturday.

Did you install your mudflaps?
I thought I had pictures of them on my 2022, but couldn't find one. I'm hoping to get the auxiliary tank and flaps on this weekend. I will post pics if I am able to pull it off. I hit my 500 miles and I am hoping to hook up the house and do some back road, under 50 mph towing this weekend too, but at my age I am probably being too ambitious.

I've been wondering about break-in on the engine. I'm 1,200 miles away and it's interstate home. Is break-in still a thing or has that rule passed?
