Post Pics of your 2019+ 2500 or 3500!

Mine is a Big Horn. I would have liked the factory Laramie flares, but they won’t work. I guess the Laramie fenders have holes from the factory for the flares to attach in to...
Can’t wait to see how it turns out. I’d really like to add some aftermarkets to my Laramie to look similar to this, but can get costly with the paint matching. I also don’t want to screw up the current paint trying to install so would likely have someone do it. Looking forward to seeing yours completed.

It just comes down to safety in my personal opinion. General rule of thumb is +20mm more over the OEM size tire for a OEM wheel. Tire manufacturers have been around for awhile now and hve certain recommendations for what size wheel to run with said tire. Ex. My Nitto Ridge Grapplers recommend a 10” wheel to run the 37x12.5R18. However I am running a 18x9 instead. I am still in the safe permitters of running that tire. Also any reputable tire shop will tell you yes or no on installing a tire onto a wheel or not. Clearly mounting the 37 onto my 9” Method’s was not a safety concern. I checked also for the Nitto Ridge Grapplers in a 35x12.5R20 for my father’s 19’ 3500 and they would not mount them on the OEM 8” wheel. He needed at least an 8.5” wheel for them to mount up a set of 35x12.5. The biggest tire they will mount on the OEM 8” is a 295/65/20. This was from America’s Tire (Discount Tire). Also there would have needed to be major trimming to fit the 37’s on a factory wheel even if I could mount them onto them since the factory wheel is at a +55-54mm offset.

Someone else chime in if I’m wrong about the wheel safety topic. I’m pretty sure I’m in the ball park though.

Makes sense. Was hoping to save a little money initially and transition to the after maker wheels at a later time as my entire vision is having 37s stuffed underneath. Looks like I will just have to take the plunge. Likely going to actually do something I’ve never done and go smaller with the wheel to have a meatier tire. Looking at the Method 315 in black but a 17”, with 37 Ridge Grapplers wrapped. CJC set up a customer with the same set up and I’m a fan. Here’s a pic.

Thanks for your help.

Don Thuren (owner of Thuren Fabrication) is running 17’s on 37’s as well. He put 17’s +25mm on OEM truck like mine before he put his companies levelling kit on it.

Great to know! That’s my plan as well. Level to come shortly after depending on my garage clearance, ha!

Shoot me the link of the pics of his setup if you have it handy. I’ll do a google search. I too have a Black Laramie Mega Cab.

I will post pics when I get them installed. They’re supposed arrive in a few days...

Gahhh I’m not a fan of them. I think the bushwhacked ones look cooler than these little skimpy fenders lol

Yeah they don’t offer much coverage, and look skinny compared to the ‘18 and older factory flares....

I know everyone and their brother is running to Carli, which is alright, check out Thuren as well. Give them a call and talk with Chris. You’ll never get a personal one on one experience with knowledgable answers to any of your questions. That’s where I started years ago. Sat and talked with them for about 30 minutes covering everything about what I’d need and what I’d need to do etc

Great tips man. Thanks.

Shoot me link of Dons set up if you have a chance. Would love to see it pre-level.

Not in love with his color scheme but that stance and meaty tire look is perfect.
Thanks for sending.

Wonder what his offset is. From my understanding you need to keep it in the +18 to +25ish range with 37s to not have to do major trimming (5.75in back space). He’s sticking out there farther than I would have assumed.

I’m a big fan of most all their products. The honeydew snow foam wash is the best! Shaving cream thickness when used in their foam cannon. I just washed mine using that combo today. I’ve recently been really impressed with Turtle wax hybrid ceramic spray wax and Ice Seal & Shine too. Easy to use, crazy shine and water sheeting. I just bought some Lithium Ceramic slam I’m going to try. You can stack it, 2 applications within 24 hours Is supposed to last 12 months. I also have the sport appearance package and want to give max protection on the painted bumpers.

Great info and thanks a lot you just added to my detailing list lol.

What’s a good glass cleaner you use? I haven’t found one yet. Mcguires is ok but just ok.

I use Invisible Glass but also just ok. Have to clean twice sometimes but normally streak free

What tire did you end up getting? I have read a ton of reviews on them that says they are great in the snow. I am about to get tires and planned to get the Wildpeaks because I live in Western PA and based on reviews they are great for my climate.
Sorry I just saw this. I bought Goodyear Wrangler ultra terrain. They were good tires overall but threw rocks like crazy on gravel roads. Best tires I had were Goodyear Duratrac. They made a little noise but gripped awesome everywhere. The Discount tire in Duluth Minnesota said they are the number one tire they sell to snow plow trucks

I cleaned it up yesterday. Thought I’d take a pic early this morning before the invasive birds poop all over it. We had a group of Starling’s take over the neighborhood several years ago and they‘re a PITA..8362125A-1056-4ABB-AE11-861F2EEBF188.jpeg5FC4488A-379E-4755-8E63-937CA16946FB.jpeg04FBFB88-6BE4-408F-BFBC-BF02AFCEB0D1.jpegBAF541B8-1A57-4931-87B1-1D9042B28D9B.jpeg

Matching 2019 Longhorn 1500 also in Max Steel but it’s dirty.
