Let’s see the hail guards, please.
It'll be getting a true test today hopefully, softball size or larger hail in Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa. I used the headache rack as the main anchoring point.

That looks like it’s sitting directly on the door? Thought about putting a pool noodle over the end and ziptieing it to the bottom of the fencing? Might save you some scratched up paint.

I think if he actually gets to use these guards, then he’ll have more than a few scratches to worry about… like every panel being dented. I think these are just to help prevent the occupants being injured from broken glass and chunks of ice.

I doubt he’s getting out to flip those down if he’s riding around hoping to get in some nasty stuff, I’m sure they’ll be flipped down. No need for scratches if you don’t get in the nasty stuff.
