What did you do TO your RAM today?

I took note of others reports of the PS cable that comes off the battery and goes to the alternator rubbing on the intercooler boot and eventually wearing through. I took a few mins to re-route mine. I had the beginning of wear through at 19k miles, I’m sure by 40k it would of been a boost leak. Finally got her done, way more time and work then I would of imagined but love the outcome. Not too many problems. Carli's instructions weren't always clear such as no torque spec for axle side of radius arms and got instructions for front springs in the rear end links box so I had to wing it until I can contact CJC Monday. Can't use the cheesy Fuel center caps as the rear axle ends pops them out of the wheel, a little disappointing. Off for an alignment and I think I'm done with mods, maybe.

Truck looks great! If you rattle can the front hub they don't look half bad without the covers. Really has me jonesing to get my Thuren/Carli install all wrapped up once I get everything delivered.

Put here to work Friday, pulled the 5v’r to the coast for spring break. 2 tanks, 7.4 and 7.6 mpg hand-calculated. Might sound silly but having the extra 15 gallons in the Titan Sidekick really did kill the fuel range anxiety. No pic of the truck but here’s one of my happy place:

Get some black paint and spray the front wheel hubs where the center cap would go. Over time they will start to get some surface rust on them.
 
Got the rear shocks and springs in and decided to slap the dynatrac ball joints in since I was changing the whole front end to the synergy hd steering.... tomorrow the cradles get here and the rear TB and sway links go on....

For those of you that went with painted hubs instead of center caps, did you use primer and then paint or just straight off the shelf Rust-Oleum? Want to do something durable. After getting intimate with the underside of the truck the factory uses about $2 worth of paint, rust everywhere on the axles and some on the frame, truck only has 1,900 miles and not much driving on treated winter roads.

The cheapest black rattle can rust paint works good.

Use VHT Epoxy paint, I can get about 2 years out of a coat.

I rock them in my jeep on 37's....they are the gold standard in the jeep world....I'll never have to press any joints in this truck again....rebuilding them in the knuckle is stupid easy and the rebuild kits are pretty cheap respectively....my truck only has 30k on it but I just did joints on my buddy's 2016 2500 and had to burn the lowers out....figured they'd come out a lot easier with less mileage on them....also I'll never go bigger than 35's on this rig since I tow with it so they should last quite a while before they need attention......

Why did you install the rear shocks upside down? Link to ball joints?

I'm at 46k miles in mine and have to do U-joints, so I figured since I was in there I'd do a good set of ball joints. For me it's a toss up between the Carli Lifetime ball joints and the Dynatracs. Your input helps greatly.
