Hello all, this is my very first post, newbie here. So currently I’ve got a 2018 crew cab 6.4 For the last two months, for work, I’ve been bumper towing a 9000 pound enclosed trailer. my truck handles the weight with ease, even going up grades and Mountain passes out here in Washington state. I’m averaging over 1100 miles a week, and in the market for a second truck Should I go with the Non-high output Cummins ?Or do y’all think the 6.4, with the 410s would be the sweet spot? Again the second vehicle will be putting on 1000 miles a week, 80% of that highway miles. It will be in a 2500 regular cab tradesman configuration. Thoughts? Does anybody have this similar truck and tow a lot? I would like your good and bad feedback. Not sure if the Cummins would be overkill, since I would never tow over 10,000 pounds, but again I am worried about the amoun of mileage I will be putting on my next truck. Thanks in advance!
