Thanks, I may just give it a try. I see the May incentives this morning for the 2500 have not changed.

For whatever reason it seams like it normally takes until 7-9th of every month for new incentives, rebates, and or financing to pop up

I let a perfect truck for me get away trying to imitate Rich,;)…...BUT, have stretched out my search area and found some additional dealers to haggle with. Getting late enough in the model year(If may is late) that now am leaning towards 2021 unless a left over 19 limited catches my eye...….decisions, decisions. Dealers in the area here think their stuff is golden.
By the way, comparing tradesman base to Laramie base= looks to be a 12k difference. Curious as to what that really gets us. I kinda think that is part of their hidden profit in the trucks. Thoughts?

I think we all agree, thank goodness there's only 1 rich :p . I thought the same thing when I test drive a 19, then time went by and and i got everything i wanted for less money. As you know, I'm not a very patient man, but this time having all the time on my side was definitely my biggest advantage. As far as the tradesman/ Laramie comparison. My 16 2500 6.7 ram box was a tradesman, and it was a very good truck, did everything I wanted it to do, for now. Then we started talking our future fiver and we agreed that she would build her dream fiver and I'd build my dream rig. MAN o man, what a difference in a extremely capable tradesman 6.7 rfe to a fully loaded rig with all the capabilities and luxuries. Set aside the whole drw vs srw and aisin vs rfe, just the luxuries alone to me are well worth the money then you throw in the big dog aisin and it's shut the front door. I can not offer any experience on base tradesman vs base Laramie, just base tm vs luxury Laramie. No comparison

Rich, I am with you on the luxury part vs tradesman. I am doing the comparo trying to figure out more wiggle room as I have always ran into the "how about a Laramie, we have more wiggle room on that." Dealer talk. It's the classic decision, "for a few more $$$$'s" :). I wish I had access to a dealer order/build sheet to put together an ideal truck. Meanwhile, I will keep dreaming. Hoping the next few weeks starts the economy back on track so my apprehensions can subside a bit. I like red...….but I'd do silver in a heartbeat. I see in your sig. line you are using a goosebox? How do you like it?

I have the dealer build sheets of every option available ill look for it to post. Did I post something wrong in my bio. I have the fifth/goose tow prep, but am using the mopar 30k fiver hitch. Haven't towed with it yet, just hooked up to adjust my fiver head up 1 click. Should put me at 7" over bed rails.

I finally had one of the local RAM dealers I had visited earlier this year build out the 2500 I wanted. Looks like no additional percentage off offered from invoice pricing. Should I be looking for another 8%-10% off invoice?

First off, nice choice in color, one just like it pulled into our cg yesterday. I would not say 8-10 off dealer invoice (all though that would be an awesome deal), imop, they can definitely do better by you.

Thanks Rich, I had been debating between Billet and Granite for the color. I'm going to reach out to another dealer that I also spoke to earlier this year and see what they can do based on this build sheet. I may hold off on ordering until the factories open up. I would think by then we have a better ETA on delivery so I can have a better feel what month that falls in (maybe towards the latter part of the year when 2020's will have better incentives).

I had the same debate, granite or billet. I had wanted granite with black wheels and the wife wanted BILLET, i compromised and i couldn't be happier. I'm at a point in my life were I want classy and that's what billet is to me. The granite to me is more a single guy macho tough truck look, wich is probably why I wanted it. I am very happy I compromised with the wife, if I could of gone back now and had a different outlook, I would only consider the billet, just very rich and classy imop. So yes I caved and the wife got what she wanted to all you smart Alecks out there. And I'm ok and happy with that, she has better style than I do

Bozo,
Here is a copy of my redacted 2020 3500 Laramie POC. It may help with your Tradesman comparison.

JJ, we got the same taste in a good looking rig, I like your style
Thanks Rich,
They'll Line-X the bed in the morning and I'll take it off the lot tomorrow afternoon, maybe Tuesday. My Leer shell came in last week, it goes on Wednesday am.
Same taste - yep, I got a hunch we could talk story around the campfire for a long time, enjoying a little booze, coffee or beer.

Man o man, those 2 bad boys would look good next to each other by the camp fire. That would be the ultimate guy pin up in the garage wall. Can't wait to see it. Hope everything turns out just the way you need it to. John , we can feel your excitement.

I can't wait to see what cap design you go with and how well the paint matches. Every time someone gets a new rig, its like I get the anxiousness all over again in excitement
