2022 Premature Aisin Failures

I can't get the build date until I get the truck back. Explanation of what happened was sent. I am not sure if you received it?

I have not posted on FB. Only on this site on your thread and this thread: https://hdrams.com/forum/index.php?threads/2022-aisin-down-for-the-count….12773/ . I posted an explanation of what happened on both threads.

Hope its just a small amount of them. Almost makes me happy I got my PW instead if this turns out to be a widespread thing. I actually had a 22 HO on order and my PW popped up at my local dealer. I liked the PW so much I bought it instead and the dealer sold the ordered truck when it came in.

I’m at 23 trucks now. Still trying to get info from some folks who said they experienced a failure. A lot of them don’t know their build dates and that’s a critical piece of information.

I was thinking the same thing. I know my build date because I waited for ten months to get my truck made for me and tracked it every other day… otherwise the date is on the sticker on the door…

Got the sheet started. Already up to 20 trucks. Spread the word and send them here if you see anyone with a 22 Aisin failure.

I’m pulling my hair out just trying to round up the most basic information while also trying to ignore the “what’s the point of this” folks

Not sure what you’re saying. If you’re speaking to me about not knowing the build date of my truck I apologize.

I ordered it on 7/1 and took delivery on 10/31. Build date is between those dates. Best I can do right now as the truck is at the dealership.

Oh no not talking about you at all!!!

Sorry, I was referring to some of the people over on the Facebook groups who have been reporting Aisin failures!

You’re all good I have your info updated and I most certainly appreciate all the info you provided!

Something tells me unhelpful guys on FB groups could be trolls. Some of those groups are full of people saying the fix to every problem is to delete it…

The point of the info is to give guys who may not be in the failure window peace about their truck, and to put up a stink with Ram if they say there isn’t a failure window…

AND….I’m somewhat concerned about the viability of my replacement. And If I was a guy who took delivery of a 2022 who’s Aisin failed and was replaced around the same time as another guy who took delivery of a 2022 who’s failed… sheesh… can you even follow that? Lol

My point is when are the replacements good units!? This info should get to track that at some point too. And that isn’t a big deal if they issue a recall… but is a huge deal if they don’t.

The build date or at least a date close to the build is on the window sticker, that may help the guys get a date if they don't have the truck in front of them.
This is my window sticker with a build date of 5/19

I’ve read this is only accurate on some trucks, many have different dates on the truck and window sticker.

Has anyone had a failure with their 21 model year with aisin ? Just curious as I have a 21 with only 3000 Miles and hoping it's not a issue back that far.

From the small sample size right now the earliest failure was from a build date of July '22.

You should be fine. My truck was built in the middle of May '22 and I have just under 5k miles with no issues.

Just happened to my truck. I will post my build info tomorrow. Is there somewhere I could see the TSB if I don't have FB?
