TPMS (TIS) sensors for trailer (SOLVED - see 1st post) aka TTPMS - Trailer TPMS

I ordered a cable from allmoparparts.com the moment the part number was posted in the forum, but my order is still in the processing phase. Their shipping department asked me to acknowledge the part is for a 2020, not a 2019, which I did, but it still hasn't shipped, yet.

What's the general confidence level that any 433Mhz sensor will work? There are definitely cheaper options out there.

FCA doesn't seem to be embedding ID chips in their sensors. Most likely any sensor will work.

I am paying the premium to get the Mopar sensors to ensure maximum compatibility. I used to write software for WiFi devices. Every vendor interprets the specification differently, so there can be subtle compatibility problems when mixing vendors.
 
Thanks, fair point, I went with Wheelerfleet as well -- did the leave it in the cart trick while researching and got 5% off, still with free shipping.

Also received Order Complete, including TIM and Jumper, and are ready and shipping notice from AllMoparParts, should hopefully have everything by this weekend if current tracking estimates hold. Already have AlfaOBD up and running.

When did you place your order with AllMoparParts?
 
Order placed on the morning of 4/22, had to confirm that afternoon that I was retrofitting. Followup on 4/26 said 5-10 business days, so I was surprised to get the complete email this morning. Package hasn't been accepted by Fedex yet, so I suppose there's still a chance it itsn't ready.

Careful. I ordered from them as well and that’s when I got this other part.

Do you have the order confirmation email from them, and does it show the correct part in the confirmation? If so, they shouldn’t be charging the restocking fee, and should provide a link to a return shipping label.
 
Well they said they sent me an email saying the pet number I ordered for the TTPS system was in correct and would correct it and get it sent out. That’s what I got, not the TIM

Sounds to me like they screwed up, and you shouldn't be hit with a restocking fee because they thought they knew better. Send them the picture of my TIM which clearly says TIM on it and the correct part number and tell them that's what you originally ordered and they changed it on you.

Mike called me too. He said his shipping guys are idiots... filling stuff out of order.

Nice guy and kudos to him for calling me after I emailed. Still kinda pissed that it happened like that, but I have a current TTPMS so no huge deal.
 
Sorry, didn’t mean to jump the gun in front of everybody :)

If the parts do indeed make it, I’ll post pictures of the parts and all the install steps, if that’s any small return in kind.

I just spoke with Benny at All Mopar parts, my order was not processed in order I assume and he said it's looking like July before they get back in stock... Needless to say I'm pretty annoyed about this also.
