Can you add auto climate control??

So I activated Auto Temp Control & cabin net dcsd display screen module, and it activated on my radio. Only thing is now the knobs dont do anything when turning them, only pushing knobs works. But I can adjust all settings from the screen now. everything works from the touch screen. Hopefully ordering the temp sensor and sun sensor and 4 pin wiring for temp sensor will make it work..
Did you figure out the red and black wires from the infotainment kit? Video doesn’t say what wires they are to tap into on the other connection. Got everything installed and everything works I just need to know what the red and black tap into, and of course they are closed on the weekend.

Is this mod possible on a 14? Or is it just a 19+?

No, for 2019+ Rams, you have to run it as dual zone, and sync the driver and passenger controls.
Ah, so that bit in the 4th gen forum about first enabling dual zone, letting it take effect, and then switching to single zone atc does not work on 4.5 gen 2500s?

After getting the hardware installed, I enabled dual zone ATC and let it activate. Worked great! Then I tried switching to single zone ATC. After disconnecting the battery, doing a couple of lock/drive cycles, nothing changed, still had dual zone ATC. So, I swicthed the setting back to dual zone ATC in alfaOBD. Guess what, after a lock/drive cycle, the radio switched to single zone ATC. It stayed that way for a couple of drive cycles, then sadly switched back to dual zone ATC.

I wonder, after it magically switched to single zone (right after I set alfaOBD back to dual zone), what would have happened if I switched it back to single zone? Would it have "stuck" then?

I was looking at implementing this feature and as I was poking around under the console, I came across a plug that seems like it may be the temperature sensor plug!
I have a '22 Tradesman, 8.4 non NAV, standard climate knobs.
The plug was paper taped up to another harness so, when I went to pull at it to see it's length, it came right down, plenty long.
The plug & wiring matches this, Here
first pic is looking up behind the center from drivers footwell... Thoughts? @Jimmy07
Sun sensor is 68230115AB so, guessing the 68230114AB is still needed?

That’s definitely your cabin temp sensor connector. The 22’s seem to be more populated on the IP harness than previous years.

Is there a thread showing the install of the temperature and sun sensor?

You cannot just swap the climate controls, correct? It must be the entire center stack?

You can but, it is part of the radio bezel...I may have what you need, what year/model?

Sensor install appears easy enough, and looks like you posted part numbers for sensors.

Are the climate control knobs available separately?

That's what I have so,

Look here first...if you have this, no temp sensor wiring required.

The temp and radio control knobs are all one component, attached to the bezel. They will seperate but, not how they come

55111178AC temp sensor
68230114AB sun sensor
68340287AC Bezel I got, has seats and steering wheel buttons I don't need, hard time finding without them but, is what it is.

I may end up with an extra controls that may transfer to your bezel, if interested.

I’ll look for the temp sensor wiring like what you found and go from there. I appreciate you helping a noob!

I was pleasantly surprised. Thanks @Jimmy07 for clarifying, that saves some time, effort, and $$
Did you ever get this worked out? I am looking to do the same upgrade with the same stock components. I've got a 22 BH w/ 8.4 non-nav. Mine has the plug there for the cabin sensor as well. I found the auto climate controls near me for $300, another $100 for the sensors. What did you do about the BCM update?
