I was told by the dealer that when they went to change my order to include rambox delete there were a bunch of errors on my order. I am not sure if it was because of the "in flight" change or not. I didn't want to risk my order getting hung up in some strange state so we canceled the order and are placing a new order with the rambox delete (and the 5th wheel prep)
 
Ok so my order is finally sorted out and placed “again”. Added Rambox delete and Tow mode camera wired. Removed Trailer Surround View Camera (it is not available).

Trailer Technology Group (AVS) gives you the Trailer Reverse Steering Control (XA1, the “knob”), and the DRVM 3.0 (GNQ) with the additional side camera views. AVF gives you the old DRVM (GRG) without the side camera views (best I can tell).

The old DRVM (GRG) is also included in the Limited Level 1 package (A69).

Assuming the order guide is correct (that may be a big assumption) I can’t find a way to get the DRVM 3.0 without the knob, which as mentioned above prevents you from getting aux switches.

I’m not sure we’ll be able to be certain what mirror comes with which package combinations until trucks start showing up.raider reverse steering control

As far as I can tell developing my new order with MD, you are correct. Have knob (trailer reverse steering control), then no auxiliary switches and no 3.0 rear view mirror. The aux switches and digital rear view mirror for the rear trailer camera are more important than a knob to back a trailer. Been backing trailers for 30+ years, I think I can manage without it.

Close, but not exactly. The 3.0 mirror only comes with the knob it appears. Otherwise you get the standard digital mirror (that should support the single rear trailer camera, just not the split view).
 
Just an FYI for those looking to include the Trailer Surround View Camera option.

I placed an order for a 2023 3500 Limited last week, among other options I had included the Trailer Surround View Camera and the order was accepted. I had to cancel that order due to it not including the rambox delete option. When I tried to place a new order this week with all the same options including the rambox delete I wasn't able to add the Surround View Camera option. When my dealer looked into this they were told "The XN1 restriction we had on Trailer Surround View camera for 22MY is persisting into 23MY" they went on to say that the option was opened by mistake and is now closed and any orders with that option went into BE status.

Thank you for this update. I called the dealer this morning and my order is in that same status "BE". So that explains why I haven't received the VIN yet. So I might be doing the same and cancelling my order and completing another one.
 
Well dealer said that its in status code D and a VIN assigned even though there is no rambox delete and it has the 5th wheel prep... I told them in no uncertain terms that if this thing shows up without the full prep, including the 7 pin in the bed that I'm not accepting it. Fingers crossed it works out...

I don't think the bench seat and bucket seats are the same seats for 2023 anymore. I am being told by the dealers there is no option on the 2023 laramie's for a vented bench seat.

Still the same seats, they may just not be offering the option. They’ve apparently cut a lot of options this year.

So do you think it’s possible to add the ventilation portion after the fact?

Oh this is news to me. I was planning on going bench, but want vented. I have that now in my 1500.

Sounds promising . I have to think they will sort it out.
 
My order officially was placed yesterday at like 3:00 ish and I was just told it is in D status.... the first hurdle is complete..
 
Hoping to place an order for a 3500 HO DRW, but still not sure what transmission will be in it. I've read an 8 Sp. Aisin, 10 Sp. Allison, or just a repeat of the 6 Sp. Aisin. Anyone know for sure?
