Need help on suspension fix

The rear suspension has some quirky mannerisms
 
So how many of y'all have this bar for similar reasons. Is it mainly because I have the Thuren springs that push me into this direction?
The Thuren rear track bar kit virtually eliminates that wiggle, and transforms the truck into a very precise handling vehicle. Most gains will be felt on trucks with Thuren softer rear coils.

When I added mine, I was on my 1st iteration with Thuren rear springs, but opted for the Rough Country track bar. When I replaced the Thuren springs with BDS in the rear I had the shimmy you describe during my shake-out test run until I got back home and re-adjusted the track bar to account for the extra height I'd added.

On my 4th gen (2016) I had brackets to relocate the stock bar, which also addressed the issue, but this time around I wanted the adjustability in case I made future changes.

^^^This^^^ The soft PW is crazy how much you feel the axles crawling and "flexing" (so to say) over the various dips, undulations, crowns, etc in the road. I can only imagine going from a stiff 2500 to a more offroad oriented spring would feel the same way.

plus the extra sidewall of 37s with only 35PSI you will feel the sidewall flex on such a heavy truck… not that its the wrong inflation pressure its just a fact

back when i was running jeeps my one jeep on one ton axles and 40s on a 15” wheel i would run 8psi to keep a proper wear pattern and following inflation charts that was proper pressure but man when you hit road dips you felt the sidewall shimmy really good lol when i switched to 18s and 40s it helped eliminate that

Man running 8 PSI alone (even if I knew it was correct) would make me pucker
 
I have a 2022 2500 CCLB and it has the same jitteriness you are talking about. I’ve got 400 lbs of sand bags in the bed next to the tailgate and it didn’t affect it one bit. My son in law weighs about 250 and when he rides in the back seat it gets better. Keep us posted if you figure it out. I’ve been trying to figure out what it is for a year now with no luck.

I am learning to live with it, I guess, but not having vast relational knowledge to coil-rear suspensions, I am fishing for community agreement that even on 37's w/ 35lbs of air & softer Thuren rear springs, that the jitter (about 3 jiggles) is normal for the 2500 suspension when unloaded and encountering a bridge approach, road seam, piece of old gum, or partially decomposed green bean.

Shouldn’t be that way at all.. i didn’t do the rear just 2.5 springs and shocks.. smooth as silk and better than stock. No jiggles on 37s & 32lbs of air.. i suspect your sway bar may not be acting as is should

Mine does it with the stock off road package. Drives me crazy but I can’t figure it out.
 
FWIW, installing sumo springs on mine eliminated this problem.

It was an unintended consequence, as I installed them to keep my “leveled” truck from squatting while towing.

I’m not telling y’all to go buy them or advocating for them. I’m still in the process of testing them out for my application. I did make a thread here about the whole situation and I update it with thoughts as I have them.

I've been reading that thread with them as the next possibility. Thank you for chronicling your endeavor.
 
Thuren makes a rear track bar kit, that it sounds like you ordered, which should help with handling, but I don't know how much it's going to help your jitters.

Please keep us updated on the outcome of this, very interested to hear what may be the issue.
 
I’ve driven a lot of pickups in my 51 years of having a license. And I have driven some real junkers and some very nice rides. What I’m trying to describe about my truck is not normal. It’s kinda hard to put in to words but it feels like something loose or flexing. I traded an 18’ ccsb CTD that rode a lot better than the 22’ does. Dealer wouldn’t even try to figure it out and said that’s how they are. Maybe it’s just the combination of softer springs and/or the Bilstiens. IDK
 
It's interesting that both trucks we are discussing are longer wheelbase trucks, which should make it ride smoother if anything.

Also both trucks are 2022 models. I wonder if there was a production line issue that hasn't come to light yet?
