Price negotiated from MSRP

several additional factors to consider... 6% on one sitting on the lot, one in transit or is that a custom build? If a custom build, does the 6% include price protection? 6% on a tradesman or limited longhorn? Could throw in the interest rate environment as well but that's going to be the same on a custom order no matter who you order from...which makes the one on the lot more enticing or maybe you're just paying cash.

everybody has a value of their time - whether that be a couple phone calls/emails or just simply the hassle of ordering from someone out of state....there have been others on here that have used the volume discount dealers as leverage and gotten close enough with their local dealer for it to make sense....
Its a custom order, price protected and with 0% for 36 Months 2500 Laramie crew cab standard box crew cab 4x4 diesel damn near fully loaded

so ~$80k...additional 5-6% discount would be around $4500...cost of shipping/picking it up falls in the how much does it matter to the individual...the balance is how much it matters as well...if it was a $100k truck, that's an easy decision...of course the ram incentivized rates will likely change by the time it comes in but as long as it's a 22 I wouldn't expect the incentives to worsen. if it ends up as a 23, well different story.

helps that local dealers are at least trying these days...when i ordered in December the best "deal" i could find was $2k under list and that was when most were at least $5k over...so $9k off was an easy decision

My local dealers were all above msrp. They said if I ordered they would do MSRP but wouldn't say what their "market adjustment" would be at time of delivery.

The wife is looking for Expeditions. Does anyone know of Ford Dealers that give Mark Dodge type deals?

Granger ford in Iowa possibly...they are the default 1B to Mark Dodge being 1A as far as the most respected Ram discount dealers on these forums...they are pretty well known for their Ford HD deals so I'd expect they'd be the same on an expedition...with that said , I'd expect there to be others out there...the real question is where are the GM discount dealers selling tahoes and yukons

Used to be Laura GMC, but their prices don't look as good as they used to.

yep - now it's who is willing to sell at sticker with no add-ons
There are a few odd balls out there that have been on the lots for like six months or more and MSRP's and reflect substantially reduced prices since "regular" pricing at the build site shows as much as a 10K difference if you were to build it NOW vs December 2021. If you got to Cargurus and do a search nationally, you can find these. They will say how long they have been on Cargurus...

Here is an example. https://www.laportechrysler.net/new/Ram/2022-Ram-2500-La-Porte-dd4c62880a0e09b02c75419e768ec1f4.htm window sticker https://www.laportechrysler.net/api/legacy/pse/windowsticker/ram?vin=3C6UR5DJ6NG163222

The one above is an "odd" color but if you want a Hemi to tow like a 7 to 8K travel trailer or smaller fifth wheel, and are willing to go to or close to Laporte Indiana...you would be hard pressed to find a better feature set in the 60K range. Stripped Big Horns are going for that now. If you build this at the Ram site, it is up there toward 70K.

I posted on this deal...

Once upon a time I sold trucks and Managed in the car business. The current market is just plain crazy. We just bought our 2022 2500 HD. Started calling to see who was not smoking crack on the prices of them. One dealer told me 5K over and that was that. I have a hard time paying list price for milk... Anyway, I finally found a dealer in a small town about 40 miles from me (Columbus, Texas). They were willing to deal. The MSRP was $74995. In the end they gave us $5600 off and also was able to get the retired Military discount from Ram of $500. I thought it was fair for today. In a normal market I feel $500 over invoice in fair. But let's be honest no one is doing that today. Maybe again soon but not now. If I was willing to order one, they would have done it for us. Anyway, just my two cents....

ordered trucks are being bought for 11% off sticker without any negotiating from the dealers listed on here...7.5% off on a truck on the lot isnt too bad in this market for sure

I have a CDI number due to a vehicle buyback which provides me EP pricing. Does anyone know roughly what I may expect on a loaded 2023 RAM 2500 MegaCab Limited compared to Granger's 4% under invoice offering?

Granger and Mark Dodge will both be below employee pricing...imagine they'd be glad to accept the CDI # in order to get a kickback from FCA but their pricing is below EP without the number...a lot of members on here have provided affiliate pricing control numbers for the same reason, still get the below EP but it helps out the dealer

if you already have a quote from Granger, employee pricing should be listed on the build sheet...if they provide it, I know Mark Dodge provides a build sheet that has MSRP, invoice, affiliate and employee pricing listed

When I was pricing them, both were slightly less than EP. Granger was 4 percent under invoice. I don't know how MD calculates theirs but it seemed to be about 11 percent off of MSRP. Both dealers were within a few hundred bucks of each other.

The affiliate control also will give you an extra discount at some dealers. MD offered me an extra 500 off and Koon's offered me a small extra percentage of as well even though both prices were below affiliate.

Koons has a financing requirement that you either hav eto use chrysler capital to finance w/ their standard interest rates OR lose $1000 and you can use your own financning or if chrysler is offering incentive 0%, etc. You can do that.. But not both. Anyone know what thats about? Also anyone have any idea if the normal financing through chrysler capital is any good or is it going to be something insane?

I can get 2.4% through my credit union for 60 months.

Who's your CU? I'm hoping Chrysler will offer a 0% as well but I am shopping for alternatives, just incase.

New to the H/D forum. Looking at ordering a 23’ Ram 3500 SRW Mega limited Diesel to replace my 18’ Ford S/Dty 6.7 Diesel Crew SRW Plat. S/Box. Who has the “Best” discounts currently?? I dealt with Chapman this past March when I took delivery of my 22’ Ram Trx but see they only offer @ 3% off Inv. on a H/D.
I thought I saw somewhere dealers offering 11% off on custom orders?? Any info appreciated….
