several additional factors to consider... 6% on one sitting on the lot, one in transit or is that a custom build? If a custom build, does the 6% include price protection? 6% on a tradesman or limited longhorn? Could throw in the interest rate environment as well but that's going to be the same on a custom order no matter who you order from...which makes the one on the lot more enticing or maybe you're just paying cash.<br />

everybody has a value of their time - whether that be a couple phone calls/emails or just simply the hassle of ordering from someone out of state....there have been others on here that have used the volume discount dealers as leverage and gotten close enough with their local dealer for it to make sense....
