DId you adjust your TPMS? The KM3’s are a D2 load range with a max of 50 PSI. Their index is impressive at over 3500 lbs per tire though! I really like the looks of it on the factory wheels, curious how much rubbing you’d get if you were to start to use the suspension of the PW off-road….
I used the 37" BFG KM3's All season off road. I never adjusted the TPMS I just lived with it lol.
There is 0 rubbing! Again 0 rubbing with stock rims and I've stuffed it into the wheelwell and but good, many times this summer!
Just got back from a trip into into the rocky mountains near Rogers pass BC. 2 weeks ago. It was 80 km up a logging road, then 20 km 20 km down a very sketchy trail to a glacier lake where we camped for a week I was pulling an off road trailer With more height clearance than the power wagon and also with a Max coupler Off road hitch. Jeep guys will know what type of hitch that is.
Anyway once we were disconnected did some exploring further up the logging road and all over trails near and far, this is very high up in the pass.
I haven't rubbed once on the stock rims. Now I've said it before I'll say it again BFG's run a little small. Even the KM3's. So that's probably where I'm getting away with it. They are 36.5. Not a true 37, in a Sense.
On our way back from the trip, I had to drop off the trailer and I had new new Mickey Thompson Thompson Baja boss AT's 35x12.5 Put on, as I was burning through the KMS's Highway driving in 95 Degree weather, In that heat and that's soft of compound and the Mickey Thompson's Are triple snowflake rated. Which where I live will be very handy for the Winter.
This past weekend So after I had them changed over truck lost just over an inch in height.
We had a very long road trip ahead trip ahead so I wanted these on for the road trip road trip it was 3500 miles close to 5000 km.
Then this past weekend the Alberta overland festival was held near Hinton Alberta which is right outside of Jasper is Jasper National Park.
One of my friends was a trail guide For the advanced Trail, So I decided to go out and give him a hard time. I've heard nothing but great things about these Mickey Thompson Baja boss AT's From the most hardcore wheelers I know that run them in 40" on very built Jeeps and Trophy truck style As well.
I air down to 12PSI And most of the trail was a lot of rocks and Is deep ruts Caused by run off from the glaciers. The wagon was a little wide yet I got through! I had to use the rear locker a couple times yet never the front.
There were at least 3 major mishaps on that trail over the long weekend, Such as A JKU Knocking out his steering Box on a rock rock that was fun getting him back to camp.
Anyway I really like these tires and I'm sure they'll do great in the snow and ice. I am running them again on the stock rims.
My 37's Are sitting at 4 Wheel Parts, waiting for me to choose rims for them for next wheeling season!
Oh ya Got my backlit rigid industries, 6" 360 series lights put on a while back with double ditch lights and the 4 spotlights. Got them attached to an S pod BantomX. Also have done a bunch more upgrades which I will list when I have more time.
These Pics are obviously with the 37's on, Before the change over last week.
Over and out.
