If the front of you truck looks like this, and is 2021 (3500) Limited, please help me out.
This is what's happening, and I think is wrong, but let my know if yours works this way.
The lights you see that are on (2, one on top of the other, and a lower light bar), I would think are the DRLs.
In the 12" Uconnect in the Lights section, there's a Daytime Running Light section with an on and off choice. If you select off, the DRLs stay on. If you select on, the DRLs stay on, but the headlights come on (this is in daytime).
On the headlamp control knob, if you select O for off, I would think all lights would go off, but no, the DRLs stay on.
I took it into Service, and was told they are working as intended. This just doesn't make sense.

The lights that are on in your picture are not the DRLs. They are referred to as “signature lighting”. They are just accents, and are on whenever the ignition is on. The DRLs are the low beam projector lamps, which can be toggled on and off in the radio settings. Your lights are behaving normally. The only way to keep the signature lights from coming on is to use software to shut them off, such as AlfaOBD.

I had a similar question on another forum asking how to turn off the lights. I was at a drive in theater and couldn't turn the lights completely off which was a pain.

It's a bummer to hear that the only way to turn these off is with the Alpha programmer..

I too, am confused by this, if not a tad frustrated. So, there's no COMPLETELY OFF scenario. great. Anyone used this programmer before?

I had he same question as the OP and never got a real answer. The signature lighting is just hose 4 LEDs or is it the "brow" lighting as well? Sometimes at night I feel like some drivers confuse that signature lighting as high beams and flash me.

The signature lighting is the cluster of 4 lights and the lower strip. When the headlights come on, they become the parking lights because at that point they are driven by the same parking light circuit as the amber corner lamp.
It’s gotta be the low beam projectors that people are thinking are too bright. If you switch on just the parking lights at night, you’ll see that they are nowhere near bright enough for someone to be blinded by them.

I like the signature lighting so I will leave them enabled.
Iam leveled so that could be part of the issue with drivers flashing me ..it's mostly the cars that are lower like Nissan Ultimas etc...

I haven't seen any adjustments for the projectors unless it's behind the grille.

The only way mine shut off completely when I turn the switch to off is to go into settings and disable the daytime running lights, I think its stupid. When I'm at a campground at night it's annoying

I will have to take a look again today. I looked a few weeks ago but nothing stuck out to me as the headlight adjustment.

I had the dealer adjust the lights after leveling when doing other warranty work. Since it was leveled when I bought it, they went ahead and did it no cost.

Can confirm the signature lights stay on when parking brake is applied.
Yes they do. The DLR’s turn off, but the signature lights stay on. Kind of sucks because I usually like to turn my lights down when I’m following someone through the drive in at dark. They really should have thought it through better.

Signature lights are not bright enough to bother someone in a drive through…

Maybe, maybe not, but it doesn’t hurt to be courteous. And the DLR’s should shut off when you rotate the headlight switch to off. Not just when you apply the parking brake. Off should mean off.
