Color Preference (Night Edition) and Rambox

For me, the color choice was PX8 black. It’s a low volume color. Slight up charge, but it’s just gloss black, non metallic. I feel like it shines for days.

blacked out, of course.
The windows are 80% windshield, 25% fronts (so I can still see a little bit backing a trailer at night) and factory privacy tint rear

I did not know they had this color option. Is this available to all customers?
Thanks

Here is a spec sheet I found online showing different builds for a 3500 with some different options. Doesn’t solve the question of “what is payload” but I’ve always known it as anything that is not bolted to the truck factory. So passengers and cargo plus tongue weight. Fuel is considered part of the truck as they take into account the weight of fluids in the truck when they calculate curb weight. FWIW. New here so don’t murder me too bad.

I will be ordering that same exact thing just as a 3500 in December! Great looking truck! What are your rims/tires? Is it stock height?
Detailed info in the signature, but 2"/1" Thuren Level w/ Adj. Trackbar, Raceline Gauge 18x9 +18, 37x12.50R18 Falken Wildpeak AT3

I don’t think you can wrong with either color you mentioned.

As far as Rambox, my next truck isn’t going to have it. I like having it sometimes now, nice keep things stored out of sight and not in the cab. But my ocd can’t handle how badly Rambox ruins the trucks body lines. I also really dislike losing the width in the bed. To each their own though.

There’s only one true color for a night edition!!!

Just kidding of course. I really like the Delmonico red and the patriot blue night editions.

The bed is just as wide with Ramboxes. You only lose the open area around the wheel well.

Ramboxes are one of my top "must have" options. I put so much stuff in mine, I don't know what I'd do without them. That and Megacab are most of the reason I won't even look at buying any other brand.

I know people like their ram boxes but those are a hard pass for me. seems like 1 out of every 20 has the lids that actually fit. Billet silver is ugly perhaps the worse color but it does a great job of not showing dirt/dust.

Precisely one of the reasons I no longer want them. When you haul two dirt bikes in the bed you put the wheels over the trucks wheel wells for space. When you have rambox your pegs/exhaust touch the bed side and your handlebars are still touching on the inside. The bed just becomes too narrow. The bed is actually nearly a foot narrower when you have Rambox.

But I understand why they work for you. They just don’t work for me and others.

Yeah, I get that. I only haul my own dirt bike for day trips, so that's not an issue for me. Actually, I use my hitch hauler for day trips. Getting my dirt bike in the back of a tall truck is sketchy for me. Even when I use the Alt Bed Height on my stock 2500. Hitch hauler is just easier for me.

Agreed, love the Rambox.
