2020 ordering?

My new empty weight will be 9130.35 lbs with 30khitch
8897.35 lbs w/o 30k hitch
Max trailer weight. 33,869.65. Weeeeeeew babyyyyyyyyy   :p

FYI. Talked to my dealer and he said only trucks built by 3-21 would be shipped out according to FCA. Trucks built after that will be at least 2-3 weeks yet before they’re shipped out.

If that's the case, I made it under the wire.

And hope that your dealer is open. My truck, ordered last November, finally arrived at my dealer in Washington State on Sunday. But only their service department is open. So now I have to wait even longer. :(

My dealership is open. It's stupid for them to be closed IMO.

They're not considered an "essential business" and must stay closed. Hopefully you're in a state where that won't happen.

IDEA :
Why can't the Sales Manager and/or Finance Person access their computer from home and email you the paperwork and let you send it back after we have signed it. That way they won't have to meet us face to face, Then let the Service Manager or Service Writer finish the paperwork and deliver the vehicle when we show up for an appointment. That is if the Service department is still open. I'm sure they still need money to make payroll, etc.

Yeah. Nice idea. I tried that. They're "temporarily laid off", so simply not working. Only the service folks are working. Probably banking on bailout money to tide them over :(

Man i thought i had it bad but litzdog has got it worse than any I've heard of, makes me feel like a little whiny %!+@# with all that being said I just got off the horn with ram care an apparently all that back an forth communication did the trick yesterday. They finally changed the code from js storage to kzl released an ready to ship, with an eta of 4/4 -4/18. My dealer has stayed open but on a skeleton crew. There's no reason in today's day in age that someone at litzdogs dealership can't do a non contact delivery an even do paperwork through email an sign contact on your Android, I've done that before. I know car dealerships are non essential but there's always a way around things if someone inside gives enough dam.

My wife just informed me that the Governor of Alabama issued an order today to close certain business by 5pm tomorrow. This also included all automotive Sales Departments. It looks like this will affect me too.

If my vehicle makes it in here before the lock down expires and dealer doesn't make arrangement for me to take delivery, I may tell them, he is going to have to lower the price even more, if I am still wanting it by then.

I just can't imagine how the politicians in this country would react if we had an actual serious epidemic. Granted, this virus is aggressive but when you consider the number of deaths versus the number of people that have the disease it's still around 1 to 2%. That's not the Black Plague.

This is nuts, it's not the black plague.

And instead of just freezing everything in place, winners and losers are made outta this new bailout package. Financial uncertainty will kill far more than this virus.

People are wrongly thinking the quarantine is until the virus is no longer a threat, IT IS NOT.
The quarantine/shutdown is to limit the amount of people having to use medical services and overwhelming them.
In time, everybody will catch this virus, it is just a matter of time. Just like the flu. You just don't want to get this virus when your city hospitals are overwhelmed.
In a few weeks, many will go back to normal life until subsequent waves hit again. It is all about controlling the number of people needing medical help at the same time. That will be our new reality for like 1-2 years.
If you are lucky and don't catch it until a vaccine is available then that would be your best case scenario.

Well well well, i can't believe it, and on a Sunday to boot. I finally got my window sticker this morning. Yaaaaaaahhhhhh whoooooooooooooo. As I've told you all in past posts, my dealer will not charge me the new bump up in prices as they have committed in writing that they won't raise the price, only lower. So this info is for all to see an have a heads up knowledge of fca upping their msrp prices givin from when we ordered.
20 ram 3500 Laramie crew cab 4x4 long box
base price. Msrp 53,800. New msrp 53,900. +100
L1 pkg. Msrp 1800. New msrp 1900. +100
HO version. Msrp 11,795. New msrp 11,995. +200
Drw. Msrp 1395. New msrp 1495. +100
Trail cam wir/n cam Msrp 495. New msrp 695. +200
Total msrp increase. =700
Bed ut/conv group. Msrp 745. New msrp 385. -360
Total new msrp inc. =340

The biggest surprise to me was the 200 jump in cam pkg wiring, definitely not worth 700 for the quality. By mycommitting to hold to our original deal my
Msrp will drop the 360 for no bed step instead of go up the 340 from rate hikes.

Rich,
Just above the right of the barcode (in the bottom left of your window sticker) there should be a 4 digit number with SL above it. Many of us believe that to be the actual ship out date. Mine is 0324. What’s yours say?

Had you checked for your window sticker late day Friday? I'm absolutely amazed it came through on a weekend, let alone a Sunday. Congrats!

Rich,
Just checked and mine just posted too. Our trucks are probably sitting next to each other in storage (yours would be the damaged one) :).

My SL = 0326.

My code on the window sticker is the same as yours..0324. According to my dealer that is the completed build date. He also said if it wasn’t completed by 0321 it wouldn’t be shipped out for at least 2-3 weeks.
I hope you’re right but I’m afraid my truck will be spending spring break in sunny Mexico. Just hope the pearl paint isn’t more of a tan color by the time I get it!
