Price negotiated from MSRP

I've talked to allot of different vendors an they all say the same things. They have not yet updated there systems for the 20 models. But as we know, I always check to see if it fits the 19 model because of it does than more than likely it will fit the 20 as there the same body design for the hds anyway.

My salesman just emailed me an said they can't make a discounted deal w/o step an the voucher will be sent to me.

Just found this site. I’m looking at a 2019 2500 MegaCab Limited with a sticker of $83,310, with dealer discounts and rebates were looking at $65,310 out the door prior to taxes etc. Supposed to go pick it up tomorrow. Hope they aren’t trying to pull a fast one.

Where at?

Huh, never heard of that, I'm sure some have

I have a niece that works at a Ram dealer. I sent her all the rebates as well as the sales contract the sales manager sent me and she said there is no way they could even touch this deal. I’m worried it is some hook and switch scheme. The sales manager says he has the keys on his desk waiting on me to get there. If its not the sales contract he’s already sent me I just walk away.

Yup, check it out, go over everything twice an when something don't add up , walk

Watch out for any add-ons and that hard sell on the maintenance and warranty plans.

If you want an FCA MaxCare, go price them on Zeigler online and be prepared to use it as leverage.

In my experience, I've always thrown my money away on extra warranty coverage, think ill just stick with the 5 yr manufacturers

If he sent you the sales contact it IS binding, if you want it to be.

I most always find if the deal is to good that it's because something has been omitted, like for example HO aisin, not saying that's your case, you may have hit the mother load, just triple check, oh an btw, don't just sign. Keep trying for more

I talked to Dave SMITH when i wanted to order a truck a Laramie Longhorn optioned with everything except 5th wheel package .The MSRP was about 82 grand they said they would sell it for 72 I said OK . When I got their printout it stated I could only put down 10 grand if I put down more they would raise the price by 2grand . Option 2 was 10 down and finance thru Chrysler for a min of 6 months . I calle d them to make sure I had read it right the sales man said that's how it is . I told him that was not right and called DILLION they wanted 2 grand more I figured the plane ride diesel fuel drive back the pain of registering a new truck bought out of state ( California ) which I did o on my last truck which I had bought in AZ in 14 . The robbers charge you $ 300 just cause you bought it out of state ! After considering all that I just bought it from my local dealer . It cost me 2 grand more but between the hassle of getting the truck I would have broke even anyway . The point being before you rush off to Idaho throw everything into the equation to see if you are really saving that much to make the trek

Thats so crazy. I'm not putting anything down, just taking my trade off the top any financing the diff. They asked me to not pay off for 3 months so they get there $$$$ an don't look like there doing anything shady. Works for me

This dealer is about 2 hours from my house. Ill drive my trade up there and if its not exactly what he's already emailed me I will turn around and walk out. I do not have to have this right now. Only reason I am is because of the price. I wasnt looking for a Limited. I was actually looking for a Laramie, but at this price Id be crazy to pass this up.

Thats exactly what happened to us. I committed to my wife that we weren't buying unless we found a deal way to good to pass up. Uggghhhh surprise honey:p:D:eek:

sounds like they will screw you on the trade by finding things to bring the price down.

They've already given me a purchase order with trade value. Not sure how they can screw me on it. My wife and I are heading up this afternoon to go pick it up. Ill let you know how it goes.

Mine is the same way. If you already have an agreed upon trade value, there not going to change that. On mine they started me at 6k below average trade an over a few months of negotiating an 5k more miles, i got 1500 over perfect trade value. An to boot while my new truck is being built they agreed that i will be putting another 3000 miles on my trade vehicle. Like I've said from the beginning, you just have to have more time than them an ware em down.
