2020 ordering?

My equipment listing went online on the website 3/24/2020 Schedule D To C Tracking and does anybody know Special Scheduling Condition VII ?

Mine has this too. Based on some cursory research it may be included for “sold” orders (i.e. you put a deposit on it) for a dealer that’s run out of allocation otherwise (the dealer would be required to sell more trucks in order to get more of your model/trim truck to their lot otherwise).

Guys! You make pertinent comments on many threads and that's appreciated. However, please STOP with the Corona Virus jokes on the non-Corona Virus threads. They are NOT funny! If you can't stop, then please stay in the Corona Virus thread that Bozo started. That should allow those of us that want to avoid these immature and inappropriate "jokes".
I understand that far more people die each year from the common flu than COVID-19. However, by the end of the year, that statement could be false. You never know, but we could have a fellow member or a family member affected by this virus.
BTW - A response to this post is not required. Thanks!

In response to Omar, does this mean that because I did not put a deposit down that I won't get that code

Don't know for sure - just what I could find online. Most dealers have finite allocations so it makes sense that FCA wouldn't want to accept an order unless it was tied to a customer name and deposit (the point of this is to fairly distribute vehicles across the dealer network and to keep folks for hoarding certain models/trims). Your dealer likely had allocation available so they didn't require a deposit for proof with FCA.

You can tell if you have this by printing out your Build Sheet. My notation is on the last page (#11).

Some people think that this notation indicates that the order has prioritization. Mine went from D to D1 w/VIN in 4 days... Frame, Paint, Trim & Inspection about 7 days later. Now it's been sitting in JS (Storage) for 2.5 weeks. ZZZzzzzz. Had Bed Step listed on the Build Sheet but no calls from RAM. Not sure what the issue is. Dealer said he would call RAM sales rep to find out the issue. No call back from RAM. Frustrating. It's almost like the factory is shut down or something... ha ha

Well, my window sticker appeared today.
Only thing missing is the bed step as everyone said it would.

I guess it means the truck is now boarding the train. Sorry for those who are waiting... Mine was built only 5 days ago.
Probably destination is what drives the storage wait time. Mine is going to Canada.

Congrats! Mind if I ask what the last six of your VIN starts with? Mine is 171XXX. Wondering if there's any rhyme or reason to when these make it out.

I just got the call from the dealership about the bed step, and obviously told them do not hold up shipment of the truck. Hopefully I get my window sticker soon

On your window sticker, do the prices match the build site or did they inflate them a little here an there by a 100 or 200 bucks. Also how did they divide out your bed group on the sticker with bed step, liner an lights

Thanks. Mine is 187xxx.

Obviously model and options are important for production planning. And now, I also think that destination has a role too as those trains needs to be assembled in function of destination.

That makes total sense. I ordered a PW and I know those aren't being assembled daily. Mines just headed to Portland, OR. Though based on Ram Chat discussions, I've been in storage for some time. Something tells me @Rich and I will have the same rail car at this rate haha.

There are no bed group on the Longhorn as it is included in base price. Except for the bed step. So, I lost the entry for the bed step only.

No increase in any option.
But Towing Technology Group is lower priced for some reason. Good enough for me!

heck yeah on the lower price. Omar, i think ours are on a slow boat from wuhan with an infected step, sorry to bring up the virus but I'm PO ed there just sitting over there

Sense Of humor goes a long way to keeping one’s sanity......especially when it comes to waiting on an ordered truck that costs as much as a house.

Yo bro on that one. Ive gotten 3 calls an numerous emails in the last 3 weeks asking about the dang retractable step. So RAM CARE IF YOUR LISTENING, i don't think it's a coincidence that my truck has been sitting in storage for almost 3wks now an the ram care employees can't figure out I want my truck, release it, give the voucher an lets move on. Please

Just an observation while out today. I stop by Mills Farm Fleet and saw bed steps, I looked for any in stock for ram, but no go. Bigger thing that caught my attention was the advertising. It was was PUTCO brand and on the box “designed and built by AMP research”. Other brands out there at less cost than ram offering. Just some food for thought.

Yup, i could care less about that stupid step, probably won't even buy one after i get the rig, but if I do it won't be at the back itll be at the front left corner of bed. HELLO RAM CARES , I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE STEP, RELEASE THE TRUCK. UGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH I feel better now, thanks yall
