My limited took 2 1/2 months to get built and is sitting in rail yard 1 month awaiting a ride to NYMine sat in KZLD for a month while waiting on a rail car.
You would think they would try to get them to the dealer so everyone can get their money

They probably wait until they have a full car/truck going that way, to help with shipping costs. My limited took 2 1/2 months to get built and is sitting in rail yard 1 month awaiting a ride to NY

If you're in DFW for any amount of time they have a great USO!Thanks! I definitely need to download that checklist that was put out, maybe do that in DFW while waiting for my connection.

Mine sat kzld for one day and was shipped on the actual ship date.. I think it's all a timing thing and maybe where it's going.. my last truck took 14 days from kz to delivery.. I'm at 13 days so far with this one..its all a crap shoot just like the build..They probably wait until they have a full car/truck going that way, to help with shipping costs.
My Jeep is fixed and ready for pick-up! The stars have aligned! PHHHEEEEEWWW.How long will dealers typically “hold” a custom order on the lot?
Power Wagon is 80 miles away and waiting on a truck, but my Jeep (trade-in) is still in the shop with no ETA (“maybe Monday”).
Starting to worry the stars won’t align.
I agree you can’t be shuffling trucks at each leg of the tripThey probably wait until they have a full car/truck going that way, to help with shipping costs.

My Laramie 2500 Cummins was built 3/23 and should've arrived in Port Allen yesterday...dealer eta ~ 2 weeks...3C6UR5KJ8NG266032 - Ordered 01/28, built 04/01. 2500 Laramie Hemi LBCC
Renae at MD said it was on the train and scheduled to arrive at the rail yard on 4/12. I'm not sure if this is somewhere in Louisiana (maybe Port Allen). She told me it could be up to another 14 days tp get from the rail yard to the dealership.
Does anyone else have a truck built around the same time, and headed for Mark Dodge? I was hoping to have it by the end of April....
I find myself sitting in the airport this morning getting ready for the first leg to Lake Charles, JAX to DFW. I’ve asked three separate associates at MD to check the alignment against Thuren specs and adjust the air pressures to 80/65, but haven’t heard back at all.
Looking through checklists and weeding through the threads trying to remember everything that I’m supposed to be checking. Of course I find a meme on the book of faces that hilariously explains what I’m doing (only those of you that have seen Moon Knight will get it).

My dealer said they couldn't get it to Thuren specs, wish I could bring it in to work and do it.
Thanks @Badgerfan for doing that! I can be technologically challenged at timesHere is the spreadsheet in a printable pdf and also a JPG format if anyone would like it
Off to the right? This is the one aspect I still haven't gotten ironed out yet...
My dually arrived with the steering wheel off center quite a bit and it wouldn't track straight down the road...took it to a reputable shop and he got it close but its still off...truck has about 2k miles on it now...will probably try again to get aligned in a couple months...disappointed as this is the one issue I fought on/off with my 2016 dually as well
Questions for any of those who have purchased a truck out of the state of Florida and live in Florida. Say for example, purchasing from Mark Dodge and registering it in Florida. For sales tax purposes how is this handled? Also if the market value of two trade ins which I would have in the deal would wash out the full price of the new truck, I am assuming there would be no sales taxes to be collected for either state. Is that correct? Once vehicle is brought back home to Florida, I am assuming there would only be the registration application fees, tags and title. Any light that anyone has to shed on any of this would be very appreciated. I have not ever purchased a vehicle out of state and registered it in my home state. I just don’t want to find out the hard way. Most of this seems to be common sense but does not always work out that way. Searching online for detailed info about these type things, I seem to come up short. Thanks
Not sure how that works because they sure seem to take there time getting it ready once it gets there..And remember, the dealer wants the vehicle just as fast and quick as you do! When the sticker post, the dealership is actually purchasing the vehicle from the manufacturer and they have paid for it. So from that point forward they are paying interest on a vehicle they do not have, and will continue to pay that interest until we sign the dotted line.
Off to the right?

My go-to destination at DFW is always Saltlick BBQThis time it was only 75 mins. Enough time to find some coffee and meander from A to E and over to the jump terminal.
