2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Sounds like still in D status.
Thanks Iowa. I'm pretty sure it's been in D status since January. Guess I got a keep sucking it up—but this process, and the lack of customer visibility is unnecessarily frustrating. Thanks and have a good night!

I ordered 1-24 No ran boxes truckers built and ready to ship waiting on Info.
Haha, rub it in .
I ordered a 2500 Big Horn with Ram Boxes on 12/19. I contacted RAM CHAT today and they told me it's in the "scheduling phase of the manufacturing process." Pretty vague, but it sounds to me like they haven't built it, don't know when they will build it, but they are thinking about planning to build it. Anyone see any light at the end of the tunnel for me? I'm feeling some serious buyer's remorse coming on.
At first I thought it was a big horn thing as they seemed to be cranking out larimies. Now I've seen big horns coming out. Last I looked, the last rambox I had seen was at the end of December. I was really only looking at limiteds though because they come with the rambox standard unless deleted. I'm starting to feel a bit of remorse as well. If my truck doesn't show by July, I just as well cancel and maybe order a 23.

About only 50% of January orders have been built at this point. I'm one of those not built and ordered a couple weeks before you. But, things do appear to be moving a bit quicker. There are still a few November and earlier orders that should be built too. Maybe 25% of December orders still remaining to be built as well.

Definitely some in worse shape than me and not trying to whine. Looking at it from a realistic stand point though, if I got a build date today, it is likely a month or better out. Then shipping, God only knows. Having a build date would do wonders, atleast acknowledging that the parts exist to build the truck would be awesome.

My truck was built on 3/14 and got this update from Sandi today. Looks like allot of people will be waiting for train tickets.

There is a massive rail car shortage all across North America and has the system back logged about 3 weeks.

Hopefully I get a ride North by next week.

That’s what she told me about a month ago, but told me to check again in a couple weeks. A couple weeks later I was loaded in a car ready for the push.

I wonder what is the normal route for the rail cars to MD. Mine is in it's second stop in LA right now.

When are you scheduled to arrive in Port Allen? P.A. and I are on a train scheduled to arrive tomorrow.

Right now POC says "RAMP ETA 4/2/22 @ 4:35AM". Weird how it went further east into LA then will go back west.

Nice! It’s sounds like we could be on the same train. P.A. and I are sharing a car reported to arrive in Port Allen on the 31st.

@gator6 Did you see that it's now 4/1 into Port Allen? At least mine is

Shipping hubs, love them or hate them, can’t make this work without them.

Where are you getting the updated info to Port Allen? I am calling the number and it just states the last check in they've done.

Yeah makes Navy logistical sense.

I haven’t even checked, but we’re in the same car so whatever you’re hearing I can only verify with the same phone call.

Let me know if you find out something different. At least it's just one day. At least at this point anyway.:p

Well it doesn't specify Port Allen but it says arrives "Industry" 4/1. Hoping that means last port. Someone correct me if I'm wrong

I think my truck might heading to MD with yalls too. I got an update from Sandi she told my truck was offloaded at the port on 3/23 and that it would take about two weeks to make it to the dealership.

I have a DRW, so I’m not expecting it to show up for a couple weeks, especially with all the trucks coming in, SRWs get head of the line. DRWs take up too much space, and these deliveries like to take as many cars as they can.

Here’s one for you…brv10 and I were talking about cold the other day. I’m at JTAC school in Fallon and it’s -10° - “Senior, can you go to supply and ask them to send me the 7-layer getup?“ “sure bubba”- a couple days later “hey Smith, they said they won’t send it to you because you’re not here to sign for it” “Senior, are you kidding me…Derrick, what ****ing sense does that make!?” “I dunno, bubba, I tried, those tightwads aren’t budging”

Navy logistics.
