Lets see what you are towing!

How does it handle in a heavy cross wind at 60 MPH?
All is good...the boat seems to make the butt of the Doghouse less twitchy, pull nicer.
That trailer sits high and it's short, it needs to be cause we wheel the thing into some rowdy places sometimes. It's not the best pulling thing even by itself but it's light enough..used to give my lifted Bronco fits anyway, kinda white knuckle-y. That Raptor and now the PW manhandle it just fine if I pay attention to tongue weight, it needs it. I feel everything act up a tiny bit more now with The PW... semi's passing, high wind and such but can still drive it with two fingers on the wheel no problem.
I put a little more drop and a friction sway control on the boat's nose since that pic for the heck of it

Working with the wife so she can go to some horse shows by herself, she’s never towed anything before, this was day 2 of lessons. Backing has some desired improvement but doing well so far.

That’s awesome. I want to train my wife to drive and tow with my truck. You sir must have a lot of patience

I'd say find a big parking lot and give it a shot, you may find out that's a bad idea or you may be pleasantly surprised. We started with one of the kids semi truck toys showing the movements involved with right turns, left turns and backing. Day 1 we didn't get over double digits in the parking lot. By the end of day 2 she asked to drive it home through a busy area of town and did just fine. Another day or two of it and I'll tell her she can drive out to the parking lot by herself to practice and just call me with any trouble. Other than backing I was surprised how quickly she picked it up.

I started teaching my fiance how to tow our boat last year as well. She picked it up super quickly and now has the launch ramp pretty much nailed. Can confirm that parking lots and plenty of practice time is the key.

New to us toy hauler. 2018 work and play 21SE about 6300lb unloaded with a 5000lb ccc
How does this one tow? Looks like a big brick. I do want something similar - a smaller Toyhauler without all the extras and just a bathroom.

It towed great, I had a 5hr drive home from eastern to western WA. It is like a dam brick ha I wish it had the nose cap like other Work and Play models. Only downside was my mpg but it’s a giant wall in the front and I was going 70 the whole way home. But the simple setup is what we really like and the strength of the trailer compared to standard toyhaulers.

We really enjoy it
Thanks, I’ve been looking at some of their bunk house units. They look well built. Currently have a 26’ trailer and looking to go larger. Just have to get over concerns about maneuvering something that long.

They do seem to be well built. Mine is a 2017, and we have really had no issues with it. I do understand about the length, as it's 35' total length, and then behind a long truck, makes small campgrounds tough. Thankfully, most campgrounds easily accommodate it.

For better or worse (even lower?)

We're down to the 377fl and a milestone 370flmb at this point.
It's for the better. The 377 fl had given us no issues. It does have a heavy pin though. We weighed just this weekend and we are at 16200 with a pin weight of a little more than 3000 pounds. Front living room is heavy. Great 5th wheel highly recommend
