2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Be glad you’re on a train. The boat shipping seems to be adding a month to delivery times. The trains have been far more reliable.

Depends on which system you call.

With CSX, you can speak the whole car initial and number or input it. If you’re in a quiet area, speaking it generally works well but sometimes it can be touchy. If you need to enter it manually you have to enter the initials (letters first) and the format they use is tricky. Yours is UCRY so to enter that you would type in 8-2 (U) 2-3 (C) 7-3 (R) 9-3 (Y) then it says enter number so yours would be 0-0-1-9-5-5 followed by two pound signs #-#. It should then give you the location information. If you need it to repeat just press 1 again. It can sometimes be difficult to understand the location name so if you are struggling with that let me know and I can check it for you. I have a relative who works for them and he is able to decipher where it’s at (usually).

As for Union Pacific, their system still confuses me. I have tried typing in the car numbers but haven’t had much success so I just say it verbally and that usually works.

That explains why I was having trouble. thats tricky for sure thank you

Anyone second guessing their truck order/purchase with diesel being $4.50 a gallon or more in most places. In California its over $6.00 a gallon in some places. Here in SW Florida I paid $4.40 a gallon at BJ's Club yesterday. Everywhere else here it is $4.79 to $4.99 a gallon.
I can definitely say I'm not in as much of a rush for my truck to get built now as I was before the hike in diesel. A few weeks ago, I was checking for my buildsheet every few hours... now I'm just hoping the prices have gone down by the time this truck shows up.

It will be tough to overcome the desire to run the roads when you first get it. Set aside fuel money for that urge now. I've had mine seven weeks now and have about 2600 miles on it.

New here! I will be a first time Ram owner after owning GM's for 25+ years. I ordered the truck 1-22-22. I was told 12-16 weeks. Truck is a 2500 Laramie with a 6.4 gas. White w/Night Edition. Is there a way to track my truck. I received the VIN # four days after I ordered it. What can I expect for delivery about?

Thanks for the help!

Good day, my window sticker showed up. Ordered 12-11-21. Now what, I can't afford to drive it whenever it arrives. Dang gas prices.:)
ODS update spreadsheet please.

Thanks, KVP
I ordered about a week after you, but no window sticker yet. Ram chat says it's at the body vendor :/

Do we just post our VIN here for more info? Those Google Doc links in post #1 are blocked for me at work...thanks USAF.

The wife and I had a plan to take the truck up to Tennessee the week it came in (based on past build dates) but we've decided taking her Jetta seemed more fuel efficient.

The truck will now be the designated grocery getter! At least for the time being, mild weekend driving compared to our preferred vehicle that I was hoping for...

Yeah, I filled up in Jacksonville on Sunday of last week at a RaceTrac ($3.95) and saved 10¢/gal ($3.85). Two or three days later I was driving back from the gym and noticed it had jumped to $4.09, and on Thursday it leaped to $4.59.

We’re planning on a trip this summer with the RV, and this just puts a bit of a damper on it, but so far we’re all systems go. It’s a funny time to be retiring from service as I find myself compelled to get ready, but know I have to leave it to everyone else now.

From what I’ve been witnessing watching this forum, some of the Hemi models are being pushed in less than 12 weeks.

Oh Happy Day!
My equipment list just populated this morning. Thank you @OfficerDirtySanchez for updating the tracker sheet before I even got an e-mail, call, or found the list myself.

Being that I was in framing last friday morning according to @brv10 , I might even see a window sticker today or tomorrow.

I had to wait 3 days between my EL and Sticker publishing.

Its crazy, On Wed I put in 2/3 of a tank @ 3.65, Yesterday it was 4.25 at the local Casey's. The Love's on the Interstate 35 miles away was 4.75. I've got 3 trips planned, reserved & campsites paid for between now and mid June. Total of probably 7000 miles +/-. I don't look forward to the cost increases, but my 50 gal tank has less sticker shock than my motorhome had. It was 150 gal tank. It's only money & they print more every day.

Maybe I misunderstood the original poster as stating the dealership transported the truck to his location either on their own accord or through a transporter hired by the dealership. At this point Stellantis has already invoiced the dealer and the truck becomes property of the dealership once it has arrived at the dealership.

Once the truck is on the ground at the dealership neither Stellantis nor their hired transporter is responsible unless it was damaged while in their possession. Rail Companies maintain millions of dollars in insurance as does shipping by boat. Many of the larger Transport Companies carry $500K in Cargo Insurance and $5M in Liability. These are the 10 Car Carriers, the big rigs, the semi's or what ever you wish to call them.

It's the smaller 3-4-5 car carriers who struggle to maintain the minimum insurance requirements. I was an Insurance Compliance Manager for Manhiem Auto Auctions and my job was to make sure over 500 automobile transport companies were properly insured. Trust me! I know how to cheat the system!
damaged before ever arriving to the deaership is how i understood it.

if you can't enter it into the spreadsheet page, you could try to enter at www.cryptostickers.net

You can also post up your VIN here and see if they will add it to the spreadsheet for you since the add page is blocked for you.

Go to page 1 of this thread and there is a link to add your VIN to the tracker.
