2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Dealer has played dumb for the majority of the time. Last time we spoke he said he didn’t have any dates at all and that they find out updates once a week just on status changes
Ask for a copy of POC Sheet. As stated above, your POC sheet will have an Est Ship Date top right which is meaningless regarding Ship Date, but MAY correspond to the current (as of date POC printed) best guess at Projected Build Date. Note: your dates and status on POC sheet will change with time - make sure you have the latest copy.
No Dealer or anyone else in their right mind will give you dates as they are not meaningful until your status is D1 and even then it can change (generally moving to right). Trucks have moved backwards from D1 to D, in some cases more than once, so take any dates with a grain of salt.
In my mind it was never worth the effort to try to track Build Dates or even Ship Dates until you have a Window Sticker or better still when truck is actually on the train (or boat).
Best, Ed

That's pretty damn quick delivery in comparison to most it seems.
Honestly, I almost didn't sound off as there are a bunch of folks who are still in a holding pattern.
I feel like I've cheated.

The main take away here, as there are several other folks who are getting ready to be notified of delivery, the wheels are greased, pipes are flowing, and hopefully that aides the ones that are still out there flapping ...
Well, less the latest developments with the Commies.

Apparently mine will be by boat so now I’m not excited about that

View attachment 32647Well Gents, my 10/15 order from MD has finally arrived! Flight booked for next Thursday. Will pick up from HOU Airport in Houston and drive it 1600 miles west.

@RMA78 looks like we were on the same train, fairly similar trucks too.

@OfficerDirtySanchez we are KZX amigo! Thank you for your continued support.
I actually think your truck was behind mine in the pictures they sent me!

For reference only, as there are a myriad of variable in play that could have a negative effect....

ordered 1/5, equipment list 2/2, window sticker on 2/3 (if I recall) arrived in Port Allen 2/17, should be at MD in the next 72 hrs.
that's
Thats a 50 day timetable.
I would be happy with 100 days

How did your pickup go at Houston? We too will be flying into HOU and was wondering how that would work? Did you stay at hotel and they delivered there or at airport? Any info will be appreciated. Nice truck!!

Longhorn Mega 3500 SO ordered early November 2021, same time dealer put in a order for a Gas HD, there build went to D1 recently I'm still in D, dealer talked to there rep and they said its on build constraints:
  • Deployable Build Step
  • Fifth Wheel Prep
  • Rear Air Suspension
Anybody know when the air suspension went on constraint and when it will come off? Anyone else having issues on that?

Mine has rear air & the bed step, and it was built on 10/11 Feb. Was ordered 08 Dec.

Edit; No 5th wheel prep though. But everything else.

Good news, MD contacted me and my new truck has arrived. I will be doing a turn and burn to Lake Charles tomorrow. Thanks for all the members that helped on my order. Pictures when I get back.

Ordered on 11 OCT
Built on 29 JAN
Arrived at Port Allen on 14 FEB
Arrived at MD on 24 FEB

I apologize we are monitoring two orders for you. This update was for NG162020. I do apologize as the subject line was not updated to reflect this.

NG162020 just entered the shipping stage.

NG265397 - parts and materials have been ordered and once the parts are available the vehicle will be scheduled to build

So still lost in damn space since I canceled that order.

maybe the difference is in the 2500 to 3500 air setup? Hoping they start putting bolts together soon on this thing. Gonna be a long train ride to Canada
