2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

@brv10 does KZU occur when a truck is taken off the last train, or when it is put on a truck for the final ride to the dealer?

From Ram Chat a few minutes ago. "I am showing that your vehicle is currently in the trim stage of the build process. The trim levels make each model identifiable by its particular features, and are just different versions of each model. Currently no Dealer ETA has been provided. Please reach out to the Selling Dealer as they may have a more accurate date of arrival or status for you."
This may fall in line with the EST ship date of 2/25 from the dealer yesterday. Maybe it will be taking a ride north soon and then the pile of accessories that I have sitting in my shop can get out of my way. :)

Yes, i have this. My question is when does a status change to KZU; upon offload from train or once its loaded onto a car hauler?
There is no update between second rail arrival (kzu) and delivered to dealer (kzt) so im curious when the truck is “scanned” to push the update to kzu.

Finally some good NEWS my salesman’s sent me a picture my truck is at the dealership. What a long wait. I will pick it up today after work. More pictures tomorrow. Thank you @brv10 for your help. NG100558

Congratulations! That was one long wait. I hope they’re pushing to get your truck PDI’d and to you quickly. You’ve been more than patient. Enjoy the truck, you definitely earned it!

KZT is the last train, KZU is on the truck, KZX is delivered.

8 weeks today and still no build date. I know everyone says that the wait is worse once the truck is built but I feel like there has got to be some sense of relief when all the parts finally come together to make a truck. Been D1 for almost half of that. I just want that crypto sticker email that everyone keeps talking about lol

The worry of if it will be built definitely is relieved, but the anxiousness level of when it will arrive increases. Mine was built earlier this month and I'm currently impatiently waiting for notice that it has arrived at the dealer. I'm anticipating the first week of March.

I think I just want to see that it’s built to ease the thought of it being one of those that just never gets built somehow. I’ve been impatiently waiting since day one but that’s just how I am. I just want some type of satisfaction that it’s going to the next step

I agree with you. Mine is built and I'm waiting for delivery. Sitting in D and D1 status was far worse. Now I'm just excited to get it.

You are almost there. D1 took weeks. Everything after takes days. Well, everything but the train ride. ;)

Ok, so 5 months sounds like a realistic number, whereas the other dealers are giving me overly optimistic ones. Not surprised.

No, not Mark Dodge or Chapman. These are all local dealers in the Rochester, NY area - Mark Dodge is 23 hours away and might be tough to swing. First two dealers were locked at MSRP, while the third dealer was actually a friend who was able to get me halfway between MSRP and Invoice when they otherwise also do MSRP or above. Which given the market I thought was pretty good, but people are still getting under invoice, even now? Are there any dealers in the northeast doing that? I am happy to fly and drive, but 23 hours is pushing it, we have a new baby and demanding jobs.
Friendly in Geneva took good care of me but i had ffp so they didn't take anything off msrp. Ask for Stephen and let him know you were referred by the shop teacher Chaston. He offers a discount to you for referrals

I ordered with a local dealer here in Central Texas prior to discovering Mark Dodge (walked from that order and went with MD).

Mac Haik in Georgetown to be precise.
Got a call this AM that the truck showed up...

So if anyone is in CTX, doesn't want to wait and maybe take a stab at negotiating...

3500 Laramie DRW 4x4 HO, Night Edition, Flame Red...

(512) 572-3119 - Ask for KC Gardner (a great guy), tell him Ryan sent you.

I was curious to find out how long it typically takes from when your sticker is available to delivery, so I plotted the data from the Order Tracking Spreadsheet (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...jqFtyJfuADQC5i5D7fX4lQqrQ/edit#gid=1884861679):

The trucks most frequently take 22 days to be delivered from the date your window sticker is available, and an average of 28 days.

Got my VIN via the email yesterday (had the vin for 2 weeks from MD and my build sheet) but still can pull up a sticker. I'd be interested on how long it normally takes from when you get a VIN to the point you're able to pull up your sticker - now that we know a rough average on sticker to delivery.
