2022 HD Crowdsourced VIN/Order Tracking

If you look at the order sheet, it seems if you ordered a HO diesel, you are going to have a longer wait than either gas or standard diesel. Not sure if it's the HO engine or Aisin that's slowing things down. I ordered an HO Dec 23 and I check in with Ram Chat on a weekly basis and they are still gathering parts with no build date forecast.
I seem to be an odd one that breaks all theories...

3500 Laramie DRW 4x4 HO NE, etc. (lots of things)
Order: 1/5
Window Sticker: 2/5
Was on train a couple days after that.

42 days in, and en route to Port Allen, LA. Unless something silly happens (knock on wood), will have truck < 60 days total time.

I was thinking the same thing, ordered my Laramie 3500 HO on 11/11 and have bounced from D to D1 and back to D twice over the past 30 days. I asked RamChat today why it keeps bouncing back and forth and of course they didn't have an answer.

It seems it's a crapshoot as to when they are painting the color of your truck, parts availability, etc. I ordered a Tradesman because the dealer told me the more options you have the longer your truck could be delayed because of the chip/parts shortage. Glad to hear someone is pleasantly surprised. I knew I'd have to wait a few months but I was also hopefully it would come sooner than later.

Well yesterday was suppose to be my ship date and nothing has happened. Truck went back to D according to RamChat and the dealer, as of yesterday. Relayed my frustration with the dealer, since March 8th will be 8 months of waiting now. Just talked to Ramchat again right now and according to them I'm back to D1. Keeping my fingers crossed it doesn't regress again. Just contacted my dealer to see if he has an updated shipping ETA. Waiting for a reply. Gonna have my mother in law start a prayer group and pray that this truck gets built. :) ;) Wish my luck.

I'm also attempting to order a Tahoe and there's a guy on one of the GM forums that takes order # requests and he updates with the current status...he made the comment that pre-covid his quickest order to delivery was 17 days which sounds crazy - but they also had some in the 6 months range as well. 60 days definitely seems pretty quick given the current climate- especially given your build - higher trim diesel dually - I believe there have been several hemi 2500 falling in that 60 day range

if needing a truck, anyone with a June - Sep/Oct order without a path forward it'd be tempting to place another order - downside of course would be that a similar "new" order would probably be a minimum of $3k more if not approaching $5k more

I see D1 on 1/27

You must be I ordered my 3500 DRW HO 4x4 laramie on 1/13 and as of now I don't have anything more than the VIN.

It seemed that was the case but if you look at the orders in the last 3 months there have only been a few HO's while the majority of them are the gas and SO diesel. I wish they'd pick up the pace with the HO's, summer is coming!
And crew cab. Figured a bulk of megas would get done since my date was two weeks ago.

I also have a loaded DRW 4x4 Limited HO NE on order. Order placed 01/04/22, window sticker available today, and Ram Chat tells me I'm staged for shipping. Also found yesterday my new 5th wheel should be ready by mid April. Both orders are moving much quicker than I had hoped for or expected. SUPER excited!

I hope that I get lucky too, I ordered on 1/23 very similar build as yours

So, weekender plans? or full timer plans?
what 5'er did you purchase?

- curious minds need to know! ;)

Mine is a HO diesel and it took exactly 3 months from order to delivery. Ordered 11/16/21 and delivered to Granger Motors today

We spent a ton of time researching. We finally landed on a Riverstone Legacy 419RD. It's a beast! Few years of work to go, and many plans for a lot of long trips in our future. So closer to full time than weekender.

Nice rig congrats. I had to look it up very nice

Ok - finally made it to the dealer - dealer sent me some pics of the damage on the rear bumper - not as bad as initially discussed. I guess they need to hold it 48 hours after PDI for Chrysler to release it - from there they will order and replace the bumper when it comes in. Here are the pics...

Thanks! We really like this one. I'm 6' 7", and I actually fit (including both the elevated front and back areas, and the shower). Plus I seem to have no self-control when it comes to options. Give me all the bells & whistles and I'm happy. :D
