What did you do TO your RAM today?

They are good looking tires. I haven't seen that brand of tires mentioned on here before. I see that they are made by Cooper and I am curious to know how well they perform on wet roads and in snow.
I agree. They look just aggressive enough but have excellent road manners.

It may be a while until I can test them in snow and rain as I live in AZ. We don’t do that type of driving much haha.

I didnt do anything to my ram today but my Ram did something to me. It made me mad. I just sold my brand new transforce tires as they were horrible. But i just saw a voluntary recall from firestone/bridgestone that have replaced them with another tire at no charge....

"Bridgestone will replace affected tires with a comparable Bridgestone or Firestone brand tire or other suitable replacement at no charge to customers."

Extremely unlikely your truck was in that small batch of recall tires.

Added a 16k Warn winch. Now I’m sitting here waiting for someone to run off the road so I can put it to use.

Is that good for that straight up 9K vertical pull?

;)

Installed Edge CTS3 with EGT probe. I have AMP steps - so I had to split the OBD2. I initially installed the CTS3 without the EGT probe and it worked fine. Now that I have the EGT probe on (via EAS cable), about every 3rd time I start the truck it just hangs with the message of 'loading guages....'. If i unplug and replug the OBD2, it works fine again. PITA.

Anyone have any experience like that?

Also, changed the fuel filters for the first time this weekend. Semi-rant: so the rear filter housing was a b&^% to get off (28mm socket / 1/2 socket wrench). But did it. And I had drained the fuel via the little valve, but I got a nice diesel shower when removing the housing. That's not my biggest gripe: the front filter must have been installed by the Hulk. Would not budge. So i decided to over-power it with an 18v Milwaukee impact driver. I have driven 1/2" lag bolts (6" long) into trees with that impact wrench. But it had nuthin' for the f&*$ing filter housing. I ended up using a breaker bar with an extension to loosen it. WTF? btw: the mopar instructions call for 22 ft/lbs when re-installing. Guessing the original factory install was closer to 122 ft/lbs..... just glad I didn't strip the plastic 'nut' on the housing.

Any wise folks out there with insights (pun intended) on the CTS3 issue and/or not dumping diesel everywhere when removing the rear fuel filter housing?
I haven’t done mine yet… everything I have read is to use a one gallon zip lock after you drain it

Haven’t done mine yet, but every thing I have read, they say after draining the rear, wrap it in a one gallon zip lock as you take it off, captures the remaining fuel, no shower needed.

Ugh…. Cracked my right tail light backing the utility trailer to its spot. Backed it there hundreds of times…. Got distracted, wasn’t watching and heard the CRUNCH!!!! Not very pleased with myself. I’m betting a new LED assembly isn’t cheap either…

At least it was a tailight and not sheet metal.

Great idea! Thank you!

This is my favorite thread on all the other forums I’m part of it. I haven’t seen it on this sight. If I’m duplicating, I’ll delete! But here is what I did today.
I put on Diesel Fuel and DEF caps and called about Ranch Hand replacement bumper I’m ordering.View attachment 4679View attachment 4681
where did you get the caps ? My 22 2500 didn't come with a cap for the fuel.

Never mind ... I just found and ordered a set ! ... I'm so impatient lol

View attachment 31957Swapped out the Transforce tires and stock wheels for this setup.

35x12.50R18 Hercules Terra Trac AT-X Venture
American Racing AR201 18x9 0mm offset
2in spacer level kit

This looks shockingly good. I’m on the fence on 35s… everyone you see runs 37s on a 17” or 18” wheel, but i don’t want the added stress to the 68RFE or complete crap fuel mileage
