TPMS (TIS) sensors for trailer (SOLVED - see 1st post) aka TTPMS - Trailer TPMS

I requested from my dealer that the factory put the 2 plug setup in the bed not on the bumper an he said they have no control over how they build them. But he thought they were on the bumper. But i will give that one to ford, i like that better in the bed so the cable isnt dragging back an forth across your tailgate. I agree with brutal, i would settle for the dang plug in end, the rest would be easy breezy to do. All ready got a better cam saved in my cart. There's no doubt in my mind they will only be able to keep those after market manufacturers at bay for so long.

When my 2020 came in, it had the plug in the Bed as well as on the Bumper.

WOOHOO

I WANNA SEE THE PICS!

LOL

The only pics I have are from the initial Truck that arrives to the dealer damaged. https://hdrams.com/forum/index.php?threads/my-new-ram-3500-arrived-damaged.1445/

I have an appointment set for Friday 3-6-2020 to iron out the final deal on ordering the replacement Truck. More picture to follow when it arrives.

It will look just like the damaged truck (I hope without any damage to it) with all the same options except I am going to make sure they have the options on this one that some how never got on the first truck. Trailer Tire Pressure Monitoring, Dual 220a Alternators, and Rear Bed Step.

Thanks for asking.

This looks like the company that is making the connections for ford and ram. might be worth a call with them to get their wiring diagram and possible connection fittings so we can wire in any other camera we want.

Regarding the TTPMS option, this is not automatically included in the Tow tech pkg? When I placed my order based on the Build your RAM site, I didn't see that particular option. Guess what else wasn't an option on the RAM site for a 2020 build; the aux trailer cam wiring. So am I screwed?

Tow Tech is AAN, auxiliary camera prep is XFQ, TTPMS is XG9. If you don't have this on your sheet, you don't have it.
Only XFQ is known to be available to be added after build. So you are good on this one.

XG9 is available only since 1 or 2 weeks.

They are about$ 500 for each of the two options equalling to 1000 total for both as added on to the build models, I'm sure after market versions run considerably more

Completely screwed. Cancel the order and wait.

I do have XFQ on my build sheet after all. Hope I can add XG9 after the fact some day. Otherwise I guess I buy an aftermarket trailer TPMS like many other RV'ers.
