heck yes. Love the chrome wouldn’t order mine any other way. The painted bumpers just don’t hold up without spending more $$ on coatings and films.

I’ve got a Billet Silver Metallic with the big ass chrome front end on order. It will be a sight for sore eyes for the non-chrome crowd

color matched body liner, its like bedliner, but smooth, and shiny. Cant tell its not paint. Wont chip from rocks. You can install body liner over chrome too!! This grill is body liner, can you tell? I would never buy paint protection film, that stuff is junk and doesnt stop rock chips, why you cant install it on areas that get hammered with rocks, will literally tear it apart.

My biggest problem with the chrome: on a tradesman they charge extra for it. On any other package they charge to you get rid of it. I wish I could have gotten chrome bumpers and a color matched grill. The full chrome front end was too much for me.

Never heard of this stuff. Looks great.
Do lots of places offer it?

Hopefully one of you guys can chime in.
So today my satellite radio stopped working. Says, “satellite hardware error”. Is this something simple I can fix? I’ve had to turn the truck off several times on my drive but same error.
The other issue, little white knuckle type, thankfully only happened once. While driving late night on the freeway using adaptive cruise and NO TRAFFIC IN FRONT OF ME the truck all of a sudden has a bell, a red alert flashed and the brakes came on pretty hard. It was as if it thought I was going to run into someone but as I said no traffic was in front of me anywhere.
I have had small glitches with mine too. changes pages without touching the screen. For two days phone wouldn't connect, then it started connecting as soon as truck was started.

Those sensors are super sensitive, maybe a bug flew directly in front of it?

if you live where its hot, you want ceramic for sure, it will help keep the heat out. Otherwise it doesnt matter much comparing ceramic to carbon.. I live in Northern Canada, and the tint shop here in the city told me its not nessecary for us northern folks to get ceramic, not much benefit as we dont have the heat like you guys do. When its hot here, we want to enjoy that heat lol. I would just be spending more money to get it.
Thanks. Ceramic all the way

Has anyone had MD use a local vendor to put tint on their truck prior to pickup? If so, are you happy w the results?

Also, does an un-tinted ceramic tint/film exist that can be put on the windshield to help keep the truck cool in the texas heat?

This is what I did to my 2014 Tradesman. I bought the louvers about $50 back in 2015 (Ebay).

I agree that the sport package and NE trims look great, but I drive a lot of dirt roads and that paintwork is going to get destroyed on the front end.
It’s also pretty easy the scuff the rear bumper as you’re stepping in and out of the bed (tailgate closed).
This is after 6+ years. Chrome is much more bullet proof…..

I kept asking why if all the parts had been sequestered since the middle of October why the truck hadn't found a spot on the assembly line. After many versions of that question the agent offered to escalate. Everything else happened from that. In fairness, my sales guy did say he thought it would be built by the end of January when I asked for a status update just after Christmas. Probably just my time.

That is good to know as I just tried that angle today as I had an open case since October and my salesman said back then that it was supposed to be built by 12/21. Yet they are still apparently picking parts for me and have been since September. So all I got today from US Customer Don’t Care is that they will put a “note” on my open case. Then they probably went back to laughing at me
