2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Are you saying you only went 260 miles on a tank of gas? 2500? 3.73 or 4.10?
I don’t let it get much lower than half. I put 20 gallons in. 4.10 and the computer is saying I’m averaging 12.6mpg. City and highway (not interstate) driving. Computer is giving me a range of around 350 miles give or take on a tank of gas.

Oh ok. Thanks for clarifying that. I feel much better now.

Based on my experience with the accuracy of the truck computer on three different Ram trucks that I have owned, I would say your actual gas mileage is probably 11-11.5 mpg.

Flew to Baton Rouge to pick up our truck from Mark Dodge on Friday morning. Drove it back the ~550 miles to Florida where our house is currently parked. Was a comfortable ride and the 50 gallon tank got me the whole way with plenty to spare. Loving it so far.

I've seen mixed responses as I've followed along, but in general, how long after you order are you receiving your estimated build dates?

I think I'm going to be in a weird situation since I ordered Dec. 23rd which was right before the plant closed, so my build probably wasn't really processed till the new year.

Your assigned a( subject to change ) build plan as soon as your truck goes to d status..not sure when the dealer can see that..

A lot of people have received projected build dates shortly after their truck progresses from "D" to "D1" status. Those have been subject to change though.

In my case, the order was in "D" status on 11-29 and hit "D1" on 12-18, but I have not receive a projected build date.

Speaking of which: brv10, if you have a moment, can you look it up and see if there has been an update? 3C7WRTCLXNG215379

If you have a recent POC sheet, several people have found the Est Ship Date on the POC sheet to be meaningless with respect to shipping but close to the Build Date

This was my experience. Estimated ship date from when I went d1 was the actual date built. Shipping was a few days after that.

Only POC I received was the day it got entered and the Ship Date is either empty or edited out. Dealer edited out all the pricing too, but I have POC's from other sources on the same build which tell me what that was.

You should be able to get updated (current) POC from dealer. First one may have been blank esp before it went to D or D1 (my date changed at D1). If they edit out, ask them for date.
And depending on when you ordered, dont be surprised if price has changed. MSRP went up on mine, but dealer held original pricing. Others have reported dealers trying to increase price.

My dealer gave me a ship date for 1/23. I am uncertain if this is actually the build date or ship date. If it is the actual ship date, does the build date mean from the assembly line or after it gets back from an outside vendor for whatever additions are put on the truck? And if so, how many days from build date to ship date? I am assuming also that ship date means being put on a train, subject to sitting for an undetermined length of time.

As I understand it, Build Date is date it rolls off assembly line and has Equipment List (JS) - it then may go out for additional operations such as bed liner or bed step installation (understand the bed step is in shortage and may hold things up) - it then comes back and gets final QC at which point it gets Window Sticker and is ready to ship. From Build to Ship may be days or weeks - no way to estimate.

Any Ship Date before you have Window Sticker probably does not mean much (If you are D1, it may correspond roughly to Build Date)

I now have a est. build date of Jan 24, have you guys seen build date being on time lately? Thanks 3C6UR5ML4NG162264

Has anyone placed an order for a Laramie recently and successfully ordered it with surround view camera system? Ram website only allows me to have surround view in a Limited. I know the build website isn’t exactly the best so wanted to double check here.
