I am having a hard time finding payload capacity for a 2022 L3 Power Wagon without Ram boxes. I realize other options affect payload. I found someone at 1276 LBS but think that build had the Ram boxes. Not sure if that affects much. Thanks!

not a level 3 but my buddy's level 2 with sun roof and no ram boxes was 1365. my 2020 level 1 with no ram boxes is 1565. I am guessing you will be pretty close to the level 3 with rb and the level 2. I know not what you asked but might help a little.

My 75A model, loaded with sunroof and dual alternator is 1236. Level 3 fully loaded just like my 75A just arrived less the bead lock type wheels and no sliders / steps and it shows 1354. Neither truck has ram boxes.

Thanks for the replies, gentlemen. I would not order a sunroof, so I guess that will help increase payload a bit.

Wow, I just checked. My 21 lvl 2, sunroof and ramboxes is only 1209..... With my family of 4 and a quad on the back, I am over limit.
Appreciate your reply. I know I'm reaching a bit. I want the Wagon and do offroad with my current truck. My trailer is 7000 LBs loaded, which is nothing for the powertrain. But tongue weight, family of 4, generator, fuel, equalizer hitch, etc and I figure my payload at 1600. My 1/2 ton is rated at 1460 and it does just fine, but I don't want to push things too far. Just for giggles, I test drove a Tremor 150 and loved it (payload was 1578) but alas no tow mirrors.

My L2 with a center console, side steps, no sun roof, no RamBoxes is at 1367. I do plan on towing a travel trailer eventually, around your size. My thought is that, even with the limited payload (half-ton territory), the Power Wagon is still a HD truck with HD components and powertrain; I'll be a lot more comfortable going up to the limit than I would in a half-ton. If I remember correctly, Truck King (YouTube, former TFL guy) agreed with that assessment.

Any accessory you add including bigger tires and skid plates and sliders etc will lower your payload too.

here is what mine weighed when loaded for a weekend camp trip. So not crazy overloaded with gear but still over GVWR and that is with just me at 200lbs and wife 150lbs and dog 35lbs.FC8A14A6-5324-4AF4-AFCB-9007DB9E2B64.jpeg6D0F8709-B4CF-4365-A9D2-8E8C07FFACEA.jpeg

this is empty nothing in the truck but a full tank of fuel. truck from factory should be 7000. tires/wheels tranny skid and 75A sliders are only add ons so payload drops fast.1E04B066-7594-43BE-A7B8-495B2132D76C.jpeg1E04B066-7594-43BE-A7B8-495B2132D76C.jpeg

I was feeling generous and braved the cold after I read the thread to help y'all out...L3 22'

'21 75th AE Power Wagon. Only option is the bed group (spray in bed liner, led bed lights, bed step)
Sticker says 1285 payload.

Thanks for all the new replies. Seems we are roughly 1100 - 1400. I really want a wagon but it might be a bit light for my needs. Thanks again all.

I'm surprised how much more a L3 weighs over a L2. I have a L2 with bed utility group, center console, and side steps and I'm at 1367. Guess that nice leather really weighs that much more!

Not sure how much of a difference there is between a L3 and a 75th Anniversary Edition. HK stereo? Bead lock rims? Center console and leather seats. Electronic 4x4 shift? Electric rear window?

And Level 1 vs Level 2…My Level 1 / Tow Tech Group / Alpine sound has a listed payload of 1449lbs

You can swap out the stock rear springs for springs from Carli or Thuren, either of which will bump your payload capacity back up to 2000 lbs on the PW. Those springs are actually a softer spring that replaces the standard 2500 spring to soften its ride while for the PW it is a little stiffer but increases actual payload (non-sticker of course).
This swap is in my future plans; lots of owners out there have done it.

I think the carli springs adds ~500 pounds to your existing payload (does not bump it to 2000 pounds by default).
I have the Carli +2 springs in the back because of the payload that sits in my truck 24/7. It made a huge difference basically giving you +2" in the rear on a full payload truck by using a higher spring rate, but unsure what the increased spring rate adds for payload.

I have basically new rear standard Carli springs if anyone wants to buy them :)

I am in the same situation as you. From some of the other forms you can simply install air springs, air bags, or stiffer coils in the rear to make the payload the same as the other 2500s. The PW has all the same 2500 components. This is what I have been reading. You may want to look at that.
