One thing is can't really change the payload from a legal point of view. You can make it handle better but you can't really change the legal payload.
I've also read that changing the rear track bar really helps in the PW towing.
I really was back and forth between a PW and Tremor f250 but the Tremor f250 road so stiff it was a quick decision. But that Tremor f250 had a nice tow/capacity rating.
My 1500 actually had a bigger capacity but at near capacity it was sketchy. From what I hear near max on a power wagon feels just fine.
