Told the rep I’d not received any update and she finally gave me a case number and told me they were looking into my issue and I could call back in 24-48 hours and they would have an update.

Window sticker issued a full month ago and still waiting for truck to ship. Literally sitting a 4 hour drive away and no movement for 30+ days!! I’ll probably call Wednesday, like an idiot, hoping for an update. But I should probably put it all out of my mind… that’s when the truck come will show up.

This has to be the worst part of the order. Knowing it is built and so close. I know mine will be here within a week and I am excited. I would slowly be dying inside, every day if it showed up and sat for 30+ days.

So true, if you can’t get parts you can’t build trucks! But this… this is a simple problem to solve. Just put this truck on the transport rather than the trucks you’ve already shipped to my dealer thousands of VINs after mine!!! I know for a fact my dealer has taken delivery of a truck built weeks after mine!
 
super excited you all. i do not have a estimated build date yet according to ram chat but after reading some of these posts the last few days i decided to see what ram chat had in store for me today. as of 830 pm on Jan 8th all parts have arrived for my dec reorder. i will contact my dealer tomorrow and see if i can get an updated poc from them. Ram chat said no build date estimated yet so we will see how long the wait becomes. What i find funny is my Nov order still is in gathering parts and the only difference in the 2 builds is the new one has laramie b instead of d and tow tech group b. so there is no reasoning behind orders or who gets parts and who doesnt.

Did you add the second truck to the tracking sheet? Your first vin # was unique

My truck has been sitting in Barnes yard since the 20th. Now I’m in KzOD which means there’s a problem. Another guys truck is there also cause of missing keys, so my truck is either damaged or keys are missing.

Makes me wonder how many that have been sitting there have issues. I haven’t heard anything on mine other than the estimated delivery date range ended today, but is now the 19th.

no I did not. I might it's thw same build with tow tech added and it went back to laramie b from laramie d and it's got every option minus ne, sunroof and bsm. it's going to have more options than the limited or longhorn and still 5k cheaper.

Yeah 24-48 hours I’m still waiting and it’s been 7 weeks now since was told they would get more info on my order and give me more info. I have pretty much just decided ordering is not for me I dont think I will ever try again it’s been nothing but a disappointing experience. Happy for the lucky ones who win the ram lotto but for some it’s a nightmare why we get skipped and find tricks on a lot ordered weeks after and not one priority to sold ordered. I hope you get your truck soon

Yep I purchased one last week sadly info I was given it was ordered 2 days before my order it’s a 2500 instead of 3500 but it’s everything I wanted in my order. I’m 4 months in and still nothing for movement and nothing for any answers to why rep don’t tell dealer anything ram chat no matter how I’ve tried had been a dead end so I did what I have to for now. If I decide I need the 3500 I will figure it out later but if not I got what I need at this time.

I will add this the dealer I got it from also got 3 other limited mega cabs all different colors but all same options sequential Vin numbers. Also got 2 longhorn mega cabs in ordered pry 4 days before that. Also got in 4 crew cab mix of longhorn and limited. Even holding one of those mega cabs could of built one sold order for another dealer but no lots of skipped orders lost in the computer system and not going back to them anytime soon

Well enjoy the new truck! Let’s hope that this is not the “new normal”. I would order again but not in a crazy time like this.

Well, finished up purchase today with Mark Dodge. Super simple, just like everything else with this dealer. Marsh, the Finance Mgr, called and I missed the call. After a few text msgs, he sent me an email with a link to a zoom meeting with him. Once on the zoom, we went over all the numbers, via his screen. Zoom makes it super simple by mirroring the screen of the person holding “meeting”. Marsh was super easy to work with and not pushy at all. He went over the “extras” they were trying to sale, I told him what I was and wasn’t interested in and he put together a nice package. After call, he emailed over all the paperwork with E-Signature capability, for my perusal. I will finish everything in the morning and that’s that! Easiest car buying experience I’ve ever been apart of!!

Got a call from Charles at Mark Dodge last night. Between him and Cody they have been trying to get a transporter through Central Dispatch to deliver my truck to SE PA. It's been "mine" since 12/30 and sitting at the dealership. Well, got informed that my truck will be picked up today and should arrive Thursday or Friday .... I'm guessing Thursday.
