2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

I talked to a Ram executive and it made no difference, good luck.
Thats sad! I guess we are all just numbers to them. When you build a million vehicles a year no particular one really matters. But you would think they would care that there were choke points in the process just for the sake of efficiency.

Well, Aaron just emailed me that my truck has arrived!! I knew this would happen! It would show up right before leaving for work. Now, I have to make a decision if I SQUEEZE in going to pick it up OR leave it there until Feb. 15, after I return from work. Decisions, decisions!!

What truck did you get? I have a code but I don’t think the Laramie 3500 drw trucks get the discount. Hopefully I wrong though.
FYI: my truck came in Tuesday and I finally made it to the dealer today finalize the deal. I went online Tuesday night and got the true car $500 discount code and email and my dealer didn’t even blink about honoring it. Took all of 60 secs to get the code. Not sure what the deal is with pen fed. I financed 1/2 the cost and had pre approved thru USAA for 1.89%.

Exactly. That’s why whenever I’m doing any type of home loan or vehicle loan I will get everything together I feel may be asked of me and make copies. Then I’ll get my free credit score and block out any info I don’t share and produce a cover letter stating they’re not to run my credit and the estimate they’re providing is a good faith estimate only. Any that don’t like it I don’t use.
I don’t like giving my personal info either and phone number and email stays private as I can’t handle a bunch of crap email or phone stuff.
Ive had my phone number only a bit over a year but whoever moron prior gave it to the world. After blocking and turning in about 250+ calls it’s finally manageable.
I got lucky the last time I changed my number, No problems so far and it's been close to a year. The previous number that I had was a Florida Keys number and it was terrible.

Can you say Tay-cation. I'm sure you have heard that one before, if not dwell on it a moment, you'll get it. My favorite saying when I worked in the ship yard years ago.

That is Awesome! Seems I recall you mentioning Aaron was working to expediate your truck to help you meet that all important 7 days to make payment arrangements... I'm sure they're hoping you will step up to the plate as well.... Nice Truck Man..... it's ashamed you'll have to leave land for 28 days before you can truly enjoy this new ride..... BTW didn't I understand you have just contacted Covid? hint hint..... No sense infecting the whole oil platform..... lol

Well, an added wrinkle is, there’s a Covid breakout on my ship, right now. We aren’t sure if we will be flying out Thursday morning or not. I dang sure can’t plan for it to happen. I’m thinking about just leaving it until Feb 15. I mean, I’ve waited this long. Otherwise, I would need to drive 500 miles tomorrow. Stay the night in Lake Charles. Pick up truck Monday morning and drive 500 miles back. Which is definitely doable.

Problem with that is, working away as long as I do, I tend to save those last few days for wrapping up home projects and other stuff. Those last couple of days are also kinda precious with the kids. They know daddy is gonna be gone for 4 weeks.

I’m leaning towards leaving it just so I can take my time and enjoy the drive down. Making a road trip out of it with my mom. We don’t get to spend much time together.

Ah that changes everything, time with Mom and enjoying the trip always wins. My brother pushes oil up the rivers and is 28 on and 28 off, Captain for decades so know the lifestyle… Cheers and congrats what a cool truck!

Out of curiosity, are there a bunch of people waiting on orders from May/June/July/August still? I have a June Limited 1500 order in, with zero movement. I'm thinking of ordering a Limited 2500 to try to get a truck for myself.

Ramchat has confirmed all parts have been gathered and should be scheduled for build soon.
Does this mean D1 and should I contact dealer for est build date?
C6UR5TL1NG196681 2500 Limted MC, ordered 11/09
Talked to dealership…estimated ship date of 1/27
They expect it to be in Western KY mid/late February. We will see. The train shipping route goes to Nashville and then is trucked in to this area

I got a 2500 tradesman CC srw diesel. I don’t see anything to indicate it won’t work for your truck. My dealer didn’t even hesitate to give me that discount.
